NX Class shield mod

So I think this is a bug, unless I'm missing something

The NX class appears to have a 0.5 shield mod instead of 1

Since the game is so boring we are trying to inject some life into it by playing with limited ships. As a level 50 player with fleet res shields I had 4997 or something shield cap, on a 0.99 mod ship I have 9990ish. Another player with a T1 Oberth was over 10,000 shield cap, not knowing their exact skill points its pretty clear that something seems wrong there.
Delirium Tremens
Completed Starbase, Embassy, Mine, Spire and No Win Scenario
Nothing to do anymore.

I ran a check using the same character and same shields, and I found that the Oberth runs about 20% higher on shields than does the NX, Enterprise or Miranda. As shields are the Oberth's thing, that looks to be by design.

Working as intended (I hope). The NX is 300-years old by STO's timeline (regardless of Cryptic's justification for having it ingame). Try unequipping your Shields entirely, and it might be closer to how it should be.

The ingame NX is a replica of the original one. Read the description of the ship.
TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix, Toveg, T'vritha, To Vrax: Bring in the Allegiance class.
Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider.
    Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.

Don't make ARC mandatory! Keep it optional only!

Hence why it can now be on spec with a Connie when in ST:ENT a mirror universe NX (with better weapons and defences than the prime version) was essentially one-shotted by the NCC-1764 USS Defiant.

    Missed a word...

Quite odd, not sure how using the same shield the Oberth is showing twice that amount, maybe some confusion somewhere.

The NX is under the Escort line of ships, which have the lowest shield modifiers around.

The Oberth is under the Science line of ships, which have the highest shield modifiers.

The TOS Constitution is under the Cruiser line, with normalized shield modifiers.

And yes, I know the TOS Constitution can equip dual cannons. So can the Galaxy-X, still doesn't make it an escort.
