That was my understanding as well, that Archer undid the damage to the timeline that the other factions had caused by their meddling including Daniels.
Regardless even if it is considered canon I bet they end up ret conning it if it ever get to that point in the ST timeline as I doubt they will basically roll every major Alpha Quadrant empire into the Federation thus depriving themselves of an antagonist.
That and no matter how friendly the Klingons and Starfleet have gotten at each point they are just too different for the Klingons to just become part of Starfleet.

Oh it reset itself, but that doesn't erase the entire temporal cold war form existence. If it did then the attack by the Xindi would never have happened. :P All it reset was the part where the Na'Kuhl came to Earth.
As per the title, this topic asks the question - what does the Federation get?
Romulan's special thing is "Battle Cloak and Singularity";
KDF's special thing is "Ambush from Cloak";
Feds get "more meaningful Ship Classes from Tank to Sci to Escort"
We don't want what the Feds have. We want the equivalent. We want fairer treatment. Concern, desire, greed to some extent, and passionate belief that the enough people would buy KDF items to make it worth Cryptic's while.

Romulans get battle cloak, singularity tricks and ridiculous DPS, but they also get a nerf to their base power levels.
