Couple of questions really about cross fraction game play, really just curious and I couldn't find clear answers in the wiki...
I'm a high level fed upper rear admiral (48) at the moment. I have a friend who has just started playing as Romulan.
At what point can we start playing missions together? For example, I hear the Romulans at some point (level 10 I think) choose the Fed or KDF as an ally, can I assume from that point we can share missions or is it before? I assume the episodes that are part of the Romulan story arc I'd have to be Romulan to play right?
Also can I as a fed player beam down to New Romulus at any point. I read online that the staging area is accessible by all fractions, I don't get that option however.
When part of a fleet, if you have an embassy on New Romulus can you then access the staging area via the embassy as fed?

1.Well, you can start playing together at lvl 10 IF you ally with the feds (although KDF is better)
2. Well, at level 50 (max level) you will go there and use it as a 'adventure (lol) zone' to get Romulan marks, for the Rom reputation
3. Yes, the Embassy is there.
Also, all this infomation is also valid for the KDF, which (IMO) is better in terms of people, ships and DOFFing
And it's faction, not fraction. Only the RR is a fraction.
Once you hit 50 you get to go to New Romulus. From then on you can enter the embassy from the staging area. and leave the Embassy to go there.
If you need to get to the embassy or NR quickly from anywhere in the game transwarp to your fleet Starbase, dock, then beam to the embassy and walk out the door to the staging area.
I do agree with Jmaster, though playing a Romulan on the KDF side just feels more like your an actual Romulan. I have characters on both factions with one romulan in each.

My bad faction
Can the Romulan faction also join Fed Fleets?
OK, you convinced me to give the KDF a try at some point
If the Rom is Fed allied, yes, they can
Also, I recommend KDF, but first master your fed.
Hoped this helped.
