Romulan testing character?

Sorry if this has been answered before, but couldn't find anywhere. Wanted to know if you can or will there be a Romulan testing character to create Romulan specific foundry missions?

At the moment, no. Romulans are slaves to either the Federation or Klingons.

This, it is a moot point since they work for either faction.

There is a chance that the option to make missions for just Romulan players will return, howeveritwas removed because it did not work properly or some such thing.

what I heard was that it wasn't complete in the first place, and thus should not have gone live.

Yeah, what we got was still a ways away from workable Romulan missions.

The fact that we don't even have NPC contacts, nor uniforms for the Romulan Republic is probably the reason in addition to being unfinished.

Really slaves I thought it was an alliance.

All the resources from said romulan players go into a Fed or KDF starbase.

I don't think that's a severe enough issue to warrant not making RR missions. I think the issue was that they just didn't finish the back ground code needed for RR missions to work at all.

    What mark said

The way teams work right now is based off of if you're KDF or FED. When you pick an alliance you become KDF or FED which will cause npcs that are friendly to one side be hostile to the other.

I think that right there is the major sticking point.

If they can't make it work, perhaps they will at least release a special tag to limit a Foundry mission to the Romulans of each respective faction. You'd still have to publish two versions, but at least only Romulans would see it.

Yeah, thus if half the team is Fed alied, and the other half isn't, certain enemy groups would only be hostile to half the team... which would make for major weirdness....

    Currently, Fed-aligned and KDF-aligned Romulans can't team, so you wouldn't have a case of a mixed-allegiance team.

How about a magic unicorn as a testing character?

It's because the Romulans are either allied with the KDF or the Federation.
I would love to visit this star in-game...or maybe this one!

Wait... I thought that teams composed entirely of RR players could be done regardless of alliance choice. I could be wrong though. :(
