So, i was doing some tests, actually just playing with the ship, and the 2 pieces set gives you the shield inversion skill ->
Targets enemy ->
a) 3573.5 Proton Damage (50% shields penetration)
b) -2197.4 all shields
c) Increases damage to shields from all energy types by 15% for 15 seconds
d) 397.7 Shield regeneration applied once to each facing to allies in 5 km of target
So, does it actually trigger??
I noticed that, a) works. Since my target was at 100% hull and i fired the shield inversion thing and its hull went to 97%. So, it seems that 50% shield penetration actually works, or at least it seems.
b) doesnt work. I didnt notice any damage to the target's shields. Anyways, i dunno how to see the exactly shield points my target has. In the combat log i didnt see anything about any damage to the target's shields.
c) doesnt work. Or i didnt notice almost any difference on the combat log or just looking at my screen.
d) didnt have the chance to test it yet. But cryptic, seriously?? only 5 km radious??? hilarious.
And, i hope cryptic lowers the cooldown of the shield inversion skill, 3 minutes is way tooo long.
Anyone tried this?
At least i didnt waste any real money on the ship , thank god.
I just dont give up in trying to make fun of my science ship and trying to boost all the science skills, but there are so many skills that are useless... and i cant believe a skill like the shield inversion , that comes from a c-store ship is so useless. 99% of the times, for example all your team players will be far from 5km away unless you are playing with a team full of escorts with cannons. In the end, all the procs of this skill are useless lol.
Comments
The problem is, since its based on numbers instead of percentaje, against ships with high ammount of shields that proc is useless. :mad:
'Tis the cryptic way for science.
Now be a good little cash-cow and get on a dps ship so you can be peddled more dps-boosting gimmicks.
