Faction base stats?

I have a question about base stats of characters. Like what is the different health, crit, dmg, etc. base stats for each different faction, and race and gender (if these exist). It would be very helpful to know all the base stats if possible.

Another question as well that's not related... My friend mentioned something about thinking he noticed a difference with crew in carrier type ships or something. As far as I know, crew is broken and has no affect? Am I mislead and could he be correct?

and of course, any random advice you have is definitely welcome.

Thank you for your time :3

EDIT: Also if there is any base stat modifiers for each career.

There are no stat differences other than the ones given by traits (and several are class dependent)

As far as I'm aware, though it's not "broken" exactly, crew numbers don't have all that much impact overall ...

It's supposed to effect Hull Heal Rate, but due to the fact that, by default an Escort has far less crew than a Cruiser (or Carrier) it isn't actually implemented fully ...

Because, In a 'real world' situation, an escort would heal slower than a larger ship, due to (obviously) fewer crew to do the work ... Sadly this would cause screams of nerd rage that could be heard all the way to the Gamma Quadrant if it was implemented in STO.

So instead I believe it is % based on Max Crew, So that means it is almost ... meaningless ...

Nope ... There are, as already mentioned, Race specific "Traits" and also Faction specific abilities, that are as close as you'll get to stat modifiers.

There are also some "passive" abilities (i.e. they are always on) that are an option in the Reputation System for increasing Tier's in a particular Rep.

To extend what the poster above said about crew: Current crew does have a contribution to passive hull generation (you can hover over the crew bar to see how much), and it should be big enough to matter for large crew ships, but, due to the way crew dies and regenerates, it doesn't matter.

Most effects that damage the crew bar kill a percentage of the crew off at a time. If you've got 200 crew you'd lose, say, 10 at a time, but if you've got 2000 you'd lose them 100 at a time.

Crew regenerates at a linear rate, though. That small ship might regenerate half of those 10 crew between hits and more or less keep going, while the big ship would regenerate the same 5, but out of a hundred dead, quickly turning it into a flying funeral home.

The end result is that the larger ship, with fast crew regen on its likely large hull, will be consistently denied that regen due to casualties. On the flip side, the small ship, with its abysmal regen and probably weaker hull, might be able to hold on to a good chunk of its crew, but probably hardly had enough to matter in the first place.
