How many ships can I currently have?

How do I tell how many "ship slots" I have?

I checked the ship selection display and didn't see it labelled.

Knowing how many ships I can currently have will help me decide if I want to take certain event ships (or how many to purchase from the C-store or fleet if I am moved to do so).

Should be at the bottom of the ship selection menu.

(Not sure who's pic that is, I just googled it.)

But yeah, you can see right above 'Set Active" it says "Remaining Slots: 1" That's what you're looking for. So the person in the pic has 1 remaining open ship slot left.

Aha! That's the same page, but I don't get any "Remaining Slots" counter. I get the SET AcTIVE choices and the BUY SLOTS Zen prompt. but apparently it turns out if you have no remaining slots the "slots remaining" doesn't show at all -- no wonder I couldn't find it.

So I didn't see any "Remaining Slots" indicator because I was full!

Now I have to figure which current ship goes away to make room for the Dyson...I'll probably ditch one of the ships I got while leveling, if I can figure which ones they are and which would be the least useful in the future.

(I -knew- there was a reason they kept pushing event ships...)

Just go to a "Ship Selector" NPC and you can browse your whole drydock ... Make sure to unequip anything from them that's worth EC's or worth keeping (like certain consoles) then you can dump them ...

It'll bring up a prompt with the ships name in it to confirm, and you must RETYPE the name exactly or it wont work.

My guess is, when you dont have any slot left, you will not see anything telling you that you have 1 slot left.. its only a guess.

Dismiss a c-store ship if you have any. C-store ships are permanently unlocked for your account and you can reclaim them at any time completely free of charge for any character that can use them. They also come with all of the common quality equipment and any other special stuff like universal consoles, or special weapons, etc.
