Alternatives to JHEC?

Jolan Tru!!!!

My Rom currently uses the JHEC simply because at the time there was little at T5 that interested me in the Romulan Flotilla....It is fun and serves me well.

Now, I am considering going to a "true" Romulan ship. What would you folks suggest to achieve a *similar* yet new gaming experience?

    Yep. Essentially the same ship as the JHEC, but with all the Rom singularity powers.

    Like its been said the Ar'Kif Retrofit is really the only thing Romulans have that is comparable. I would say it would fit what you're looking for pretty well.

    There's also the T'varo. You lose the hangar of course, but with the universal ltcmdr you can make it into a lot of other things. Plus with the maneuverability and destabilized plasma torpedo, its just a heck of a lot of fun to fly.

    Another great alternative, if you're willing to lose the hangar, is the Mirror Dhelan Retrofit.
    The BOff layout is almost identical (except on the Mirror Dhelan, the Lt Universal is a Lt Tactical)

    I agree with the mirror Dehlan and the Arkif, considering i have both. and even though you want something similar to a carrier and escort, the mirror Haanom is a really good ship if the Boffs are set up correctly. It can be either a glass cannon with dual beams, or an almost invulnerable beam boat that can regen shields in a flash and always quantum absorb if needed.
