DOFF commendation beyond 100,000

I seem to recall from a few months back reading that DOFF commendation, advancing beyond 100,000 points in each category, had the potential to deliver bonus rewards. I mean other than the individual missions rewards. However, I've searched several guides and have been unable to locate any information on this. I see the tallies going higher than 100,000, so I'm guessing its not beyond possibility.

Is the information accurate, and can you provide me with details or source material to assist?

Yeah, the only "reward" is , every 10000 "extra" skill points in that commendation can be traded for fleet marks in your starbase, through an assigment.

The console for it is across the main lobby (for Fed) from the transporter pads. First console on the right, immediately after entering that room.

Since it's a non-fail mission, don't put a doff w/ the preferred attribute for 'success' it just brings the crit-success numbers down. Just pick your best with the Crit attributes. Even an elite doff w/ no desired attributes gets a 20% Crit-success chance.

I usually get 150 on a crit, it all depends on the officer assigned.

So, is there a list of best officers for such missions? If not, would you wonderful folks mind sharing which doffs you use to crit these extra FM assignments? Thanks!

Buying doffs is the easier thing dude... what i do is, any time i need an specific doff for any assignment, i just go to the exchange and i buy it. Its really fast and simple.. lol. And for this assignment, you dont need even a purple one (but a pruple one will aid you to reach the 150 crit limit).

I actually find for a Fed that the Caitan Flight Deck Officers I get from that quest line's repeatable are great. You tend to get the Cunning/Teamwork, Tactful/Teamwork and Aggressive/Teamwork trait pairs that you need for many Fed Commendation turn-in missions, and it gives the kitties something to do when you're not running the quest repeatable. Purple + 2 crit traits is about as good as you are going to get. And as a side benefit I'm pretty sure Flight Deck Officers are never asked for on any commendation turn-in, so you don't have to worry about the Success Penalty.

Since everyone is knee-deep in Caitan FDOs, you should be able to buy them cheaply if you're not inclined to wait to get them from the quest (and because you can then also use them to succeed more easily at the quest, you can make them pay for themselves).

Well I find that the Caitans are stingy old misers when it comes to giving up their flight knowledge secrets. Two Purple FDOs with two crit characteristics each and the odds still shows about 32% unsuitable. I have gotten many of that unsuitable and believe greens and blues most of the time only. Not sure but maybe Star Fleet Command should have a good long talk with these snooty cats and tell them lighten up a bit or they could find themselves patrolling some God-forsaken corner of the Quadrant. :D

My three purple FDOs with 2 crit traits each get that mission up to a princely 31% unsuitable.

Roll the dice enough and you win plenty though.

Same here. I think those doffs are broken or that assignment (caitian flight training or something like that i believe) is broken. I even use purple flight deck caitians doffs with 3/3 critical traits, and still, as u say, more than 30% unsuitable.. wth.. lol. I was so happy when i finally got 3 purple caitians flight deck doffs, and then it turns out that is even worst.. sigh.

So, in the end, those purple caitians doffs are really more useless than a blue one, hell, even a green one can get more critical results on that assignment.
