Warp cores and Romulans"

Just wondering if anyone knows, or has done any testing, heard from a Dev or read somewhere ... Whether any of the "Warp" related Traits and Skills help Romulan's flying Romulan ships?

For instance does the Warp Core Potential skill effect the "Ships Core" whether it's a Matter Anit-matter Core or a Singularity Core or does it only effect Fed/KDF "Warp" Cores

Or the Warp Theorist and Efficient Captain traits? Do they only effect Matter Anti-matter Cores or do they also effect Singularity Cores?

Or are those skills and traits only useful if you are intend to fly one of the ships from your aligned faction?
Oh, hoho hohhhhh, Oh,, hoho, hohhhhh

The Starship Power skills/traits work on the power levels of the ship regardless of the Core. My Liberated Borg Romulan Captains gets very nice buffs to power levels in their Warbirds.

That's what I was hoping for, but I didn't want to waste the points with my Rommie if not ...

Perhaps Cryptic would update the Tooltip and Description (and someone update the Wiki) to say "Ships Power Core" or something like that ... As they do tend to call Fed/KDF cores "Warp Cores" and specifically designate the Romulan ones as "Singularity" cores ...

It seems when they introduced them URL="http://sto.perfectworld.com/news/?p=885461"]LoR Dev Blog #17[/URL they called them Singularity Warpcores and the Fed/KDF's were called Matter/Antimatter Warpcores and those full names just didn't make it to the ingame item descriptions/tooltips.

Warp core is anything that powers a warp drive.

You're just looking at it too hard. M/A vs Singularity, they do the same job, generate plasma that's feed to the warp coils and drives the ship along.
Everywhere I look, people are screaming about how bad Cryptic is.
    What's my position?
That people should know what they're screaming about!
