I'm glad I waited for the Dil-Weekend, so I started exchanging 1000 Omega Marks and 250 Borg Processors for Dil.
It would be nice to be able to set the amounts of Marks / Processors yourself. According to my calculations, that would be 10 Dilithium for one Mark and 200 Dilithium for a Processor.
Have the project time scale with the amount of stuff you want to exchange as well.
Because honestly, setting up 70 15-Second projects is annoying, and I also know that this wouldn't be very hard to do from a programming point of view.
you mean you want cryptic to do something that would lessen the grind, that is outrageous. Why would Cryptic do anything to lessen the time it would take you to gain something in their game when they can just leave it as is and the player eventually gets so sick of doing it they move on to do something else ?????
currently i have 30k omega marks and over 1k of BNP's, i would get carpal tunnel before i would be done changing this to dilithium, or i would end up not doing anything else in the game for the weekend while i set these non stop.
I would like to see a better way to turn in marks i most have 30-40k worth of them n cashing them all in would make me log out how it stands at the moment
I usually just watch a movie while converting marks. Makes this far less dull.
Sometimes -i don't know why- the reputation project to convert marks actually resolves instantly, so one could *exploit* that.
Employing the nifty little "Fleet Credit Accumulation Animation" that accompanies contributing to fleet projects, have 2 rep projects that gives you 10 Dilithium per Mark and 200 Dilithium per BNP.
Or, we could just be able to turn in as many marks and components as we wish in one go. Anything left over would remain as an unfinished project. Oh, it would also be nice if we didn't have to use the stupid slider to put them in, but just type in a number or at least be able to use the arrow keys (press arrow for increments of 1, Shift+arrow for increments of 10, and Ctrl+arrow for increments of 100, each of which would auto-repeat when held).
Go here and show your support for a better Foundry!
What I would really welcome is the removal of those sliders. It has become incredibly tedious to move them to the max for EVERY ingredient in every reputation you are leveling. I mean why the hell we can not one click and all 50 large shields are added. No, we have to move the slider. I really would like to meet someone who goes to this screen without having all the resources already in inventory.
Nitpicking is a time-honored tradition of science fiction. Asking your readers not to worry about the "little things" is like asking a dog not to sniff at people's crotches. If there's something that appears to violate natural laws, then you can expect someone's going to point it out. That's just the way things are.

It's just for carpal tunnel prevention.

Each mark/implant would add X time and X dil, and you could just set it to the number you want.
Would be much easier.
No need to lessen the time, but definitely allow greater quanities to be exchanged.
10 BNPs or 50 Marks per 15 seconds, but have 100 BNPs for exchange, just lengthen the exchange time to 2 & 1/2 minutes.
All Cryptic is doing is lessening the chance of Carpal Tunnel :-)

Turning in my 51,000 omega marks, 50 at a time, is not an appealing prospect.
