Any chance we might see the Quick Swap work on ground devices as well?

As it stands the Quick Swap option for ground locates the device you are looking for and places it in the characters slot but does not populate on the ground control panel.

You still have to go thru a few other steps?

1st open the ground panel. 2nd unlock panel. 3rd choose the device. 4th relock the panel. 5th Close ground panel.

That that strike anyone as TOO many steps for something that is supposed to be AUTO FILL?

Every device you use reserves that specific spot on your ground UI. If you wish to place something else there, you must unlock the power tray, right click, and drag the invisible reservation out of the UI box.

My point is why go thru all that? lets say you want to switch from having a weapons power cell to a pair of ice boots.

Why not be able to just select it from your toons slot and have it swap out a device for a device and have it take its place on the control panel?

    One simple step.

Try dragging the devices to the tray directly from the equipment screen, instead of the tray ability list. That makes the button automatically update when you change the device so it always refers to whatever is in that slot. Works for me at least.
