Mission "Rescate en rura Penthe" missing.

Good.

No where has gotten my mission Klingon ST-HMCOHDEZE "Rescate en Rura Penthe"

I've looked at where it should be and has disappeared in the editor appears as published but can not find.

    How many reviews does it have? the current UI hides missions with 5 or less reviews when people look in the main listing.

    hunh... apparently I can't even search for Spanish missions that are still in the review stage.... It only shows missions tagged as English.

    how do I change the default language in the game?

    Under investigation.

    UPDATE: For some reason that mission is only showing up in a search if one has access level. I've written up the bug and sent it on. That's all I can do at this time.

    Hmm... you should try doing a republish. It might help.

    Isn't that kind of normal, like how lower level players don't see missions with 41 level mobs? It's always been that way, unless I'm misunderstanding "access level" here.

    I'm pretty sure he means admin powers, otherwise he'd probably have said player or character level.

    It was discovered after a time that none of the review missions were showing up at all.

    This seems to have been a problem related to last night's server issues, according to a BranFlakes tweet. I checked this morning and everything appears to be back to normal.

    Question: how do Spanish language players see missions with low reviews?

    I can't set the launcher to think I speak Spanish.... and it apparently only shows me low review missions in English.... Hmm... I didn't try it in French or German though.

    For missions in Spanish, you have to select in the search language, and appear all that are in Spanish, indifferent of the score, what happens is that now also appear German, but keep in mind there are not many Spanish, Klingon faction and there was only one that was not mine out.

    Yep, if one doesn't have dev access in game, it's not showing up for an unknown reason. As noted above, I've got this documented and sent on, but as we've also seen Foundry fixes take time.

    OK, I just checked this again. "Rescate en Rura Penthe" is a Klingon mission, so one needs to be playing a Klingon character to see it in the search. It also requires a Custom search, Language: Espanol, and one has to search for the Mission ID: ST-HMCOHDEZE. I confirmed this with a normal gold player account.

    It's still bugged, but there is a workaround.

    Maybe it might be filtering it out due to a language filter that sees "ra Pe" in "rura Penthe."

    "Text has profane words" error might not work on a mission title. I would test it, but I'm not at home.

    I tried searching Browse All>advanced with Espanol + Nenfis, and Espanol + Rura Penthe but that didn't work.

    All attempts at searching in "Review content" also failed.

    All my testing points to our Foundry search not playing well with projects that have anything but English selected for Language. I took a copy of nenfis' mission and published it as is, and duplicated what's being seen on Holodeck. I then when to Archived Projects and imported the mission with only adding an extra "e" at the end of the name and adding a sentence to the description to make sure I could tell it apart from the original. I then changed the Language to English and published it. The mission with Language set to English showed up as it should.

    It's definitely the Language selection, or rather the search not processing missions that have something other than English selected for Language, that is the issue. If you want to make sure you can find a mission that's not English, search for the Mission ID [Edit for clarity], and set the appropriate language[/Edit]. Searching by author is also messed up for non-English projects.

    I've got this written up and submitted, but as we all know Foundry fixes take time.

    I did a Type: Custom search, pasted the mission ID into the Title box and set Language to Espanol. Clicked Search and there was the mission. I just now double checked this. Oh, also need to add that this mission is Klingon, so you need a KDF character.

    Got it. Fun mission. I don't speak enough Spanish to really know what was going on though. The basic gist I got was that I need to get sentenced to Rura Penthe so that I can break someone out, but I couldn't understand that parts explaining why.

    Oh well, it was fun anyways.

    Is more or less what you say, you are a mercenary who has to "rescue" a prisoner in Rura Penthe, you have to cause the entrance and then go out and deliver the "goods". Then does not go as expected and one of these days (if people are encouraged to play it) will be continued.

    Ah, I'm acting as a mercenary. That makes sense now.... and it makes it even more appropriate that I was playing it as a Romulan. :P
