Previous Dev posts have made the extremely valid point that fully converting the other reps to a similar set-up as the Dyson Reputation's is not an easy undertaking for a variety of reasons.
On the other hand it seems a crime that there are some things that could be changed relatively easily to alleviate some of the strain caused by the Reputation system. Specifically the fact that the input requirements for experience and upgrade projects scale with your progress up the reputation.
I do not feel like it would be a great burden on the Dev team to modify the inputs to make them cost the same across all levels. Based on the changes I saw them make during the Season 7 testing before the Reputation systems went to Holodeck for the first time I don't believe that converting from Commodities and Devices to EC should be too difficult either, but then the Reputation system was the center of that particular update so the changes might actually have been more involved than was apparent.
Similarly, while I'd love to see the store unlocks made automatic as they are with the Dyson Reputation I'm not certain that would be as easy as simply going in and changing the numbers for the experience and upgrade project requirements.
TLDR:
I think the Devs can easily alter the input requirements for the experience and upgrade projects in the Omega, New Romulus, and Nukara reputations so that they do not increase in cost each time a new level is reached in the reputation and think they should implement such a change.
When I first read the title I was all ready to scream 'I hope they don't move to a token system until I have spent all these marks I got from Wonderland' but then noticed you just want the Mark costs to be equalised across all tiers. This I am all for but as far as just swapping costs over to ec directly I am torn. The reason being that I spent an eternity getting the Ferengi set for my Ferengi to be able to buy all the rep stuff cheap for my toons so it would likely be more expensive in the long run.
Only change about the dyson rep I really liked was replacing the commodities/devices with EC, so I didn't have to run to multiple vendors every day to fill up the projects.
The cost progression never bothered me. Even if it did, I would not be naive enough to assume equalizing the costs would make them cheaper.
Hated the 1-hour projects. I have better things to do than fill up some stupid rep projects all the time.
And the commendations are a meaningless waste of space in the growing list of rep tokens. Especially now that they removed the marks to commendations conversion, there is just no excuse for that item to exist at all. Since the cooldowns for getting one and using one are exactly the same, there is no reason to store them except by mistake. They should just be automatically used as soon as you get one so we don't have to suffer the permanent eyesore of "Dyson Commendation: 0" in the rep asset list. Or removed and replaced with marks.
I love the way things are setup in the Dyson reputation system. I'd love to see all of them done the same way
Generally a big improvement! Just take away the ability for Dyson battlezone ground warriors to tag the Rexs without staying around for the kill. Half the troops learned over the Dyson bonus weekend that there is no reason to stay around and kill the beasties...tag and run is the way to win big, until Cryptic fixes this exploit. Only fools now stay and kill the Rex.

This is the best suggestion I've yet seen. Make all Rep systems take a single Daily, and have that Project started immediately upon completion. No sliders, no tokens, Marks can be saved up for projects instead of burned for XP, no worries about forgetting one of four/eight commodities...
Just make the Daily, upon completion, begin the Project. Brilliant!
