Adapted KHG (Ground)

OK, I have a feeling there is an obvious answer to this, but for the life of me I can't find it.
I've been Fed side for a long time and recently leveled up a KDF toon and hit tier V omega. I claimed the tier and everything. When I look at my ground choices, I only see Honor Guard and Omega, no Adapted KHG. I know you get costume changes for finishing out the Borg STFs, but is it required to obtain the Adapted KHG set?

    You need to purchase the Ground KHG set before you can get the ground Adapted KHG set.

    A similar restriction on the space set, however, either has never worked or was never put in place to begin with.

    I thought it was something like that; everything I found was fairly vague about it, even STO Wiki.

    You have to get the Mk XII version of the Honor Guard (or MACO for Feds) set first. X or XI won't count. Also, Omega set of any level won't count.

    Once you have done that, then you can get the Adapted ground set.
