For Omega, Nukara and Mol'Rhian Rep (cause Mol'Rhian Rep sounds a lot better than Romulan Rep) it's a simple climb. You've two projects you can run simultaneously that require marks, expertise, and a mix of ground and space commodities.
With Dyson Rep ... I haven't the foggiest.
Anyone care to help a fellow gamer out with an explanation?
You still have just 2 projects, a day one and an hour one. The hour one gives you more rep/hour but just for 1 hour. You can not run duplicates of either of them. When you are playing the game do your 1 hour just like you would your resource tribbles. The one hour thing takes marks the other takes commendations.

I have an idea for what Season 11 should be; Season 11: The Big Bug Fix.
I have not been able to read my bug tickets in over a year, not even the tickets about not being able to see my tickets.
I find the drama of your signature proof of your immaturity, this means you, DR whiners.
it's the same as the others. two projects, one gives 2,500 xp, requires a dyson commendation to start and is 20 hours long. the other is a 1 hour long nets you 150 xp, and requires dyson marks some EC and Expertise.
the only major difference is the fact they got rid of all the item inputs and dropped it to just markes and currency.
First project just need 1 Dyson Commendation to run it for 2500 exp (5000 if you have the sponsorship token). You can get a comm just by running any mission in the sphere or from one of the Dyson PVE queue missions. No need for anything else, just the 1 comm every 20 hours.
The second project gives I think 150 exp but can be done every hour. That one needs 20 marks, some EC, and some expertise I think.
Also anytime you start an exp project, you get a crate that has a random item from the rep stores in it.
If you are short on time you can do one spire run and that will get you your one daily commendation and usually enough marks to do your daily.
The best way to do marks and commendations is the ground battlezone, the full list of 4 missions (you get one each time the first times), grants you 1 commendation, lots of marks and lots of dilithium. If you have friends go with a whole team.

I find it far easier to do than the other reps.
Much easier and levels cheaper.

Oh I forgot! There's also a project you can run that gives you 5 comms. It costs 350 marks. If you don't have time to play every day (or just don't want to) then you can go earn 350 marks and get a bunch of comms in one go. That way you don't really have to do daily missions if you don't want to. You'll be set for the next 5 days.

Biggest bang for your buck right there, I had all the comms I needed from tier 0-5 just by spending a few days collecting marks and spending them on this project.
... just done the Breech, over an hour for a 15 minute mission for 60 marks. I want to shoot someone. There were only three of us at the end, everyone else quit. Great start!

Yeah I don't much like Breach either. Actually I don't like Storming the Spire too, so I guess I just don't like the new PVE queue missions. I typically get my comm from either Allied Space (takes like maybe 3 minutes tops) or from the Battlezone (which gives loads of dil and marks to boot). Stick to those methods for more reasonable approach.

I'm kind of new to the Dyson Rep. Been working on getting the Omega Rep finished. Where are the Allied Space and Battlezone locations? At the Spire (as in, I'll need to warp there and get the missions?)

Battlezone's a ground map. Easiest way (IMO) to get there is to enter the Dyson sphere and immediately use the "Take shuttle to Battlezone" option.
One of my new toons will reach T5 Dyson in about a week, and she's never been to the Sphere yet. Ran the Winter Wonderland ice race, and got enough eppohs for 1400 marks, which converts to 20 commendation tokens, which- with the sponsorship system- is enough to make T5.
I like the way they did the Dyson rep. Much easier to do and can be done much quicker for those that like grinding.
I only plan on doing the Dyson rep on my alts, that is until they revamp the others...

As aloishammer said, easiest way is to take the shuttle from the gate to get to the BZ. You can fly there yourself through Contested Space, but Contested is pretty much worthless since they removed they dailies there. No reason to go there at all.
Allied Space is the area you enter right as you go through the Jouret gate. You can hail Dyson Command and pick up a quick mission that gives you 10 marks. That mission will also give you 1 comm every 20 hours. If you don't like the mission it gives you (or it gives you a broken one like Missing Ship was) then you can do any mission you fly around and find. Any mission there will give you your daily comm, so you can pick and choose which ones you do. They're all relatively quick too. Most can be done in around 3-5 minutes or so. If you have a ship that can cloak, you can even skip parts of the missions that have Voth ships drop in on you which makes it even faster.
The BZ is a ground capture/hold map, so equip yourself and your boff accordingly (you can take 2 boffs with you into the BZ). It does take longer to get your comm that way, but it literally throws marks, dil, and Voth implants at you. So it's definitely worth your time there. Although if you don't like ground combat it's going to suck for you lol.
To me this is the easiest Rep Grind I ever done. You can easily solo or have fun in groups. I usually do the missions in the Allied area. Build up to the 350 mark. Turn that in Commendations. And then I'm set for the next 5 days. While I grind another round. I'm already at Tier 3. And hardly done any grinding compared to the Romulan or Nukara.
Do the group mission really helps. I did the ground battle and got a lot of goodies.

The Dyson Reputation is the easiest to level up. If you want to get to Tier 5, then just do one of the various mission in Allied Space from Joint Command, Supply Depot, or one of the ship contacts from Minefield or Ion Stream. Takes about 3 minutes to do and gives the Commendation. If you want to get the gear, then go to the Battlefield. Not sure about Marks, but it is the best location to get Voth Cybernetic Implants since you get 5 VCI for doing the event once. I have never seen a Battlefield where a V-Rex survived.
Doing battlezone 2x will get you more than 8k dili also. If your kdf with the dailies and tag all 3 rexes you can get 8k in 1 run. Just find a nearly full instance and tag along with the group, or if you cant be bothered with relying on other people everything but the last part can be solo'd even with non ground specced characters.

Taggers like the one quoted above embody the problem we saw this weekend.....they don't stay around to kill the Rex at each site, they just want to tag them all for the loot and leave the killing to you while they run to the next site. I see them referred to as LPG's = Lazy Piggie Gamesters.

Incorrect: Tagging benefits everyone, even those too naive to understand how to properly run the zone, by causing a flow of experienced players to cycle the areas, rather than concentrating in a sequence. If there was no tagging, there would be extreme pressure to run the areas in a specific sequence, the zone would be FAR more angry with noobs who break the sequence, and the entire experience would simply be far more stressful and angry than the present, since everyone would then be required to run the area in a specific order in order for everyone to get full rewards. Anyone breaking the sequence would then be griefing the entire instance.
As it stands, experienced players now circulate the zone, tagging and killing the medics, before settling into a final area and mopping up. Rates of failure doing this are far lower than in the age BEFORE people tagged, where players would concentrate in preferred sequences, and areas that received insufficient clueful players would simply fail outright, as no fresh players would cycle through, some of which would understand the importance of killing the medics before leaving.
In short, tagging DOES benefit everyone, even those too clueless, or obstinately stupid, to realize it.
