Voth armor mod

Trying to change the color of the Voth helmet but it can't be modified at all. The rest of the armor is no problem. Chest and belt lights can be changed but not the helmet. However, on ESD I saw someone with purple helmet lights. Anyone know how to do that? Also can't change visor 1 and 2. Is this a known issue?
