Could you please upgrade the nukara, romulan and omega marks ????
Because I only have a few hours to play a day 15 marks for a whole mission thats nothing.
I can do probably 5 to 6 missions a night if i'm lucky, but most of the time I should be lucky at all to play one or two events. I have children a family I can't sit in front off the computer whole day.
The way I see it with the marks it is today I probably will finish Omega by the end of 2014 then I have still Nukara and romulan then I still need to do the Voth and any other grind race you introduce us to.
This is ridiculous really it is !!!

I think the solution is for them to retrofit all reps so they work like Dyson. Do any one rep mission, get a daily token and start your project for 2500 XP. Have hourly projects which can earn you 100 more for those who want to grind it out faster.
While they are at it. for the hourly ones, they should reduce the costs so they are inline with Dyson's by eliminating all those inputs and reducing it to: a little expertise and some credits.
It is the only way to make reps doable on a new toon especially if they keep adding 1 per season.
"With the first link, the chain is forged. The first speech censored, the first thought forbidden, the first freedom denied, chains us all irrevocably."
They have said they want to redo the others if the dyson one proves popular, but at the moment you can get 80 nakura from the elite CE which you dont even have to be any good at as long as the other 8 or 9 people are competent, and nakura prime gives out quite a few for the ground missions which are quite straight forward.
with a bit of luck and the bonus hour, infected space elite will give you up to 110 per run. khitomer elite space is pretty easy as well,

from what i recall, dyson is an experiment, and since it's going over well, they do plan on changing the older ones to be inline with dyson rep. i htink it's a "to do if we can" for season 9 thing.
First off I'm working to get the ship in working order to join elite till then I'm stuck on normal play so I don't TRIBBLE off other players out there.
That said let's continue,
Now a normal is about 15 omega with bonus and a bit luck you score 30 omega on normal play, Elite will do about 60 to 75 omega from what I read here in the post.
Now I start 3 special projects Deflector, Shields, and Engines all Borg of course.
All three comes on a prize of 250 omega each and on normal play I get let say 30 omega we'll do the math 30 omega x whatever to get 750 Omega ?
You have to agree here this ain't normal ? I don't care to play over a mission a few times but this is ridiculous in all ways .... Don't you think ?
I didn't play the Voth really yet because I want to finish all others to Tier 5 but with this rate It will take me years to complete only the Omega till tier 5.
Also for Romulan and Nukara and Voth I think, don't know the prizes there.
I think it would be a much better and fun experience for all the players.....:P

Getting 75 Omega Marks or above during the Bonus Marks Event for doing an Infected Space Elite that takes only 15 minutes on average is fine. Only takes a couple of minutes to run Epohh Tagging and it can give you 400 Romulan Marks every few days or you can do the Tau Dewa Daily for 75 Romulan Marks during the Bonus Marks Event and it only takes a few minutes. For Nukara Marks, you can get 110 Nukara Marks during the Bonus Marks Event for doing the Easy and Medium missions for the Interior or Exterior on Nukara Prime.
300 for an elite match is crazy. If I decided to turn in those marks for dil I could make 3000 dil from only 1 elite stf, not to mention the 1200 dil you're proposing from completion.
That's over half the refined dil I can get in a day from only on 15 minute mission. Not gonna happen.
Well I can't forget a face but I won't remember y'all.
Bleed Green and Gold
You really don't have to do much to prepare your ship for elites. You can do them in green and blue gear off the exchange. You can also use mission sets like the Jem'Hadar set. Since you've been doing them on normals you know basically how the fights work. The elites only have some small differences that aren't all that big of a deal.
The STFs, even the elite ones, are there to help you gear up. They aren't really content that you need to gear up for. Just jump in and go for it. Personally I don't care what gear someone have as long as I can see that they're trying.

Well they make Elite a lot harder of course and if not make the waiting time on them less .... But anyways give an proposal here instead of a comet then ?

I would agree with what people have said above. Just give the elite a go, you're know what you're doing in normals and there is little difference in elites. You'll be fine plus you'll get the extra marks that you want.

That sounds like you have some problems with your build then. I've run many ESTFs in blues with the Jem'Hadar set and had little to no issues. I would suggest going down to the shipyard forums and getting some build help. Specify that you want to run ESTFs and they should be able to set you up.
Also, when you die, are you repairing the damage? When you die on elites your ship gets damage debuffs. If you don't fix them then your ship gradually becomes more and more damaged until it becomes completely useless.

I want to stop you right there.
Based on this statement alone you will not "TRIBBLE" other players off. This shows me that you are concerned about your contribution to the STF and will do fine on elite.
What "pisses off" people are players that sit on the sidelines and do nothing, or intentionally aggravate NPCs out of order in order to grief the run.
I have read many threads where players are relatively competitive in PvP with no reputation equipment. Proper ship setup and teamwork are in my opinion more important.
Quit sweating it and go run some elite level STF's. Start with "The Cure" which is the easiest in my opinion. Do the mission in the "approved" order (there are guides out there if you are unsure) and enjoy the returns of a successful run (hopefully).
If your sill worried about equipment, craft or buy an Aegis set which I still use on one of my characters that have completed all 3 of the reputations.

Defentally Build Issues I would say. I run the MK XI Jem'Hadar Set on my ships until I got enough to get another ser of the usual mix on a Fleet Shield and Borg Engines and Deflector (MK XI for the Borg ones as well).
I do tend to use Polaron with the Jem'Hadar set as well as Polaron Tac consoles and weapons are relatively cheap and the set also boosts polaron damage. Sometimes I end up using the Polaron weaponry longer after I moved on from the Jem'Hadar set as well and does me well.
You might be right I can try that THANKS. But still I say because the subject is drifting off here I say the prizes should be higher on normal and elite !!!
Excellent!
Further, search the forums for some build info and make sure yours is relatively "sound" if you are at all unsure.
Also, I have read at least one "economy build" thread, which could help you become more potent for little 'cash'.
Yes, it will take time for you to get your elite level equipment, but many of us have done it at the current payout level, without dumping cash into the game.
We know your pain, but trust us, it is achievable.
Well they make Elite a lot harder of course and if not make the waiting time on them less .... But anyways give an proposal here instead of a comet then ?
I never played the "normals" STF's. First STF I ever did was Elite. and guess what? Sure my ship was a little low-powered but it contributed just fine. I watched what was going on, and took my cues from someone who stepped up to be "leader/coordinator"
So if you're doing only normals and thus getting only a tiny amount of Omega marks per event, that's you limiting yourself. Others have said it, and I'll repeat it. Jump into the Elites. You get better rewards there, and most likely, the effort you have to put forth probably isn't a whole lot more, for at least 4x the marks, probably a damn sight more.
Sure you're going to get the occasional "elitest" that gripes about your lower performance than what they can pull off. Guess what? Blow them off. They usually offer no proof that they're doing any better than anyone else, and usually they're just insulting others to make themselves look and/or feel better. As long as you're actually contributing and participating in a constructive manner, I could care less how your ship performs. And a lot of others out there feel the same or similar. We all had to start out at some point with miserable gear, and these STF's are the way to improve that situation. (And of course, some people had to do it mult times, depending on how many characters they used, and whether they just use drops, or are willing to buy gear, or their fleet had any in the bank to give them.)
So, jump into the Elite STF's, and have fun, and get your marks!!!! Hope to see you in there. (*Bows*)

kirk2390 you shouldn't worry that much about the elites, when i reached 50 lvl i was playing on normal and i when i was thinking about elite missions i was like it must be hell, oneshot's etc but from the rewards in the normal i saw that i wasn't progressing at all with the rep.
so i thought what the hell i will start elites and whatever happens yeah i died some times and i was frustrated but i asked in the forums to help me with my build and the boff abilities and now,
i am tier 5 on omega rep and with the borg set and some other stuff from the exchange i rarely die.
i have seen other players get blown to pieces with their fancy ships multiple times ( not that i don't want these ships ) but with my freebie star cruiser (the one you get at 40 lvl ) i can survive all the estfs.
so to sum it up ask for help in the forums, read other threads and you will do just fine

I ran Elites with mixed Mk X blue/green, and an occasional Mk XI green (and some pieces were even lower marks, as I had just hit L50, so was using stuff from story mission (nowhere near did them all), and some SB24/Gorn Minefield FA's, and hadn't gotten enough to fully get my ship up to even standard Mk XI green level consistently, much less anything higher). Sure, my first time I exploded a couple times, but after that, I rarely would, because I adapted my flying style to the damage level I was receiving, did more "hit & run" passes, which would give me time to get my shield/hull repairs off CD. And while some would say, my run pass deprived the team of my damage input, it deprived far less than me exploding, having to wait for the rez timer, and then flight time back to the fight location would.
So if you're constantly exploding, you either have a miserable skill setup, or are just too willing to kamikaze anyway. Fly smarter, and adapt your skill setup, and your flight style, to what damage you recieve in a particular mission/STF.

Infected Elite (omega) - 60 minimum, usually 75 with the bonus.
Elachi Alert (romulan) - 32 easily
Crystalline Cataclysm Elite (nukara) - 60
Those are all way more than 15.
