He sounded fine to me, granted it was different than in Nemesis but that's understandable given the fact he is much older and hasn't really been in the role all that much. And its always harder to find emotion and style when your standing in a room with a mic. :S At least for me anyways.
It's been over 11 years since dorn played worf in nemesis. His voice has changed and he is a much older man now. Someone who is 60 does not talk with the same strength and energy as someone younger.

I don't think I can agree with either of these statements. For example, IMO, Frank Welker's TF: Prime Megatron actually sounds quite a bit better than his Megatron did in the original Transformers from 30 years ago. Depends on the person, situation and motivation. As someone who's also done voice over stuff, it's not uncommon for people in the industry to notice differences in VO acting style from people they are familiar with, no matter how subtle.
I think he did good for what he did, although I was looking for more the impatient, temperamental Worf at points.
Aye, I agree. The only major problem I have with the voice overs is they always sound echoed too much, like they stick them in a solid concrete or steel room with no sound deadening. Please work on the voice sound quality a bit would you guys, other than that I always enjoy more voices added to this game even if they are generic. And as for Dorn replaying worf hoorah for another original actor TY Cryptic.

When those of you making excuses re-do the mission just listen to the other actors in the mission. Granted, one of them may not quite fit but they do all sound relaxed, natural and emotive. Dorn even puts emphasis in the wrong place a few times.
Anyway, I enjoyed the mission overall (and there were a few silly things I COULD be negative about), this was just a disappointment.
The half voice overs from most others remembered me of Baldurs Gate and was a big part reason that this was the first episode that for me feeled like a real roleplaygame from good old times
I thought his VO work was goo. Not 100% perfect to the shows but still it was decent. As people have said there are reasons, dorn's age, worf's age, not wearing his klingon teeth, etc etc
but i wonder how much of it is the VO director telling him to slow down, and speak clearly. There did seem to be a few instances where there was room for a quicker pace, or aggression in his voice although at the same time you dont want it to become a parody with over acting. Vo acting is a different skill to actual acting.
I suspect its really a combination of many issues but it was good enough.
For something like this, it probably would have been better if the director or someone was giving Dorn better cues for each line, so that it would have more of the "feel" of a conversation. As it was, I was glad to see Dorn reprise his iconic role in-game. By far, the best of those who have done VO work for the game remains Nimoy. But then, at this point, he self-identifies with Spock so much that it seems he's almost always partly in character.
As for getting other voices, I would imagine that those ST actors who are currently working on the "Renegades" movie (Walter Koenig, Nichelle Nichols, Tim Russ, Garrett Wang, the actor who played Martok, etc.) would be open to the idea of doing some VO work for the game. It might be worthwhile approaching Russ and Wang right now, since Season 8 is a Voyager tie-in (and, from their perspective, the interviews would give them a chance to promote their new ST-based movie).

Dorn is quite familiar with voice acting.
Although I think the bulk of his work has been with Andrea Romano as voice director and other animation voice directors/Seth McFarlane/Disney produced shows/etc. who assemble a cast to read and record together.
That's not historically the norm in VO but certain directors and producers have made careers out of trying to get actors in a room together as much as possible.
You could compare Dorn's work here to his work in WoW or HALO, probably.

Also...I learned the absolute correct pronunciation for Ferasan. Thanks Michael Dorn.
Just my two cents. Carry on ^_^

Thanks.
