If you were asked by Cryptic to design a cutscene or something showing your ship in it for the game what would it be?

Mine would be bringing a starship into a planet's atmosphere and landing it.

While launching fighters, have them report in like in ROTJ, "red leader standing by" "Blue leader standing by" "gold leader standing by" "etc.

Or if you have Orion Slavers, BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! "wah wah wah waaaah!"

I think having a button to switch to a shuttle while in space should be available too, and it should have an animation of it launching from your ships shuttlebay, using the shuttle you have setup to use.

You should also have a hud option to see your toons view from the bridge, with an interactive screen.

I also think there should be a holodeck on your ship that plays unlocked cutscenes from the game or allows for a pve/pvp match like you can instane in champions online training area, maybe even the use of a map you have been to, bring up party NPC's or play foundry missions through it

Show a camera shot first person of a group of MACO officers rushing to the scene of a major ground batle with the borg.

But as they arrive Catstarsto is standing on a pile of borg with two female caits in each arm and says to the maco team.

"Your a little late you missed the party"

Then tells his cait female companions

"lets go get that bowl of cream i promised"

The discovery of the Battlestar Galactica. Or....an old Earth program using a system of wormholes to link two fixed points called "stargates" and the linking of a stargate that is in motion....

I'd design a cutscene consisting of various starfleet captains, proudly wearing their uniforms and sitting on the bridge of their enormous, advanced starships ready to explore the galaxy and taking the reigns, and pointing to the view screen -- not knowing what to expect, but being exhilerated to exploring the great unknown just as they did in Star Trek.

The captains would be surrounded by a highly diverse alien species wearing uniforms, as their ship prepares for warp. The cutscene diverts to engineering, with the ship's engineer giving the thumbs up gesture, saying that the ship is ready.

Before going to the medical lab, and the chief medical officer saying that the medical crew is fully stocked and prepared for the journey.

It switches back to the Captain, who uses the 'Engage' emote before saying in great big text, as the fanfare zooms in on the viewscreen to the endless stars...

"hey do u no were sulu is????????"

With the fanfare stopping suddenly and the entire bridge crew turning to look at the captain, wondering what kind of idiot Starfleet Command decided to put in charge of this ship. The first officer then performs the facepalm emote.

What about Flash Dashing-isms, my original toon was Flash Dashing (not a cat) aside from doing the Duke voice quotes at first, I would make up my own too. At first he was the traditional old school hero RP, then I began to have fun with it and play at the (Duke Nukem Style male ego) That would be great for them to add that in, Examples:

(1) when holo leeta says "great outfit" Flash appears in the room in his Tuxedo standing there proud of himself and responds with, "of coarse its a great outfit, i'm Flash Dashing."

(2) When i fly or beaming into a queued mission using him, a cinematic plays of him (SPACE> warping in along with 2 cargo ships that have titantron screens cheering him on "FLash Flash Flash!" with fireworks and cheerleaders (GROUND> before the map starts a cinematic plays, FLash emerges from behind the group with a girl on each arm saying "Did somebody call for a hero?"

XD now that I think of it, I did have fun playing that theme too, his real name was classified as he was section 31 posing as a mercenary, back story he was a sports hero with an old school heroic name.

(3) during special events like Q, winter event, anniversary, etc. When I arriving using him, he's announced as a VIP and a cinematic plays of him with a glass of champagne and a girl on his arm, and he says something cheesy like, "..now its a party!"

Yes, I have an imagination, and its nearly always humor based and rarely serious, but it would be a fun addition I think.

Handsome Phaser Guy walking down the corridors of ESD towards the Transporter Room. With the Federation Intro music from the old SFC I PC game playing as he does so. As the music swells towards a climactic moment our bold hero strides confidently up the steps to the beaming pads. He smiles at the operator and dissolves into that oh-so-well-known sparkle with the oh-so-well-known chiming noise playing in the background in accompaniment to the music. Fade to Black

Fade in from black to an exterior space shot just over ESD, with Sol just beginning to bring dawn to the continents of Europe and Africa. A beam of light picks out the markings and registry of the U.S.S. LeRoy Jenkins, NCC-910101, and draws the camera to center the scene on this paragon of a Miranda class escort.

Which is surrounded on all sides by Scimitars, Dominion Dreadnoughts, Galors, Recluses, Adapted Battlecruisers and Monbosh Battleships.

The music stops as the camera begins a slow pan and pull back showing LeRoy Jenkins as the only Federation ship in view and Handsome Phaser Guy says in a voiceover,

" You see? This, this, is why I joined Starfleet n the first place!"

wouldn't mind a couple of over the shoulder shots of my Bridge crew standing diligently at their posts

Maybe a prep check before departing through the transwarp gate to some unknown sector to explore new worlds.....

Only for the KDF, True Way, Breen Confederacy , Undine, Borg, Ellachi , the Voth and the Iconians show up, spoil all my exploration fun and make me fight a time locked war thats still in its first year aparantly
