    At least Cryptic's ship is beefed up and armored, and not look like paper.

    Also remember this game was made in 2000, you would have thought newer games would have improved by now!

    Isn't that much better than all KDF battlecruisers? Going off STOWIKI Torkaht is 3 and K'tinga is 35, Kamarag is 25. That seems like almost escort/science ship inertia. What kinda of battlecruiser doesnt drag is big butt in a turn at least a little :P

    EDIT: I'm assuming like DDIS you mean 50 inertia with that comment.

    Yeah, stats are <3, looks are a bit off. Dunno, maybe it's the forward swept pylons, could maybe get used to the rest.

    Hmm, with the Fleet Avenger, with the pylons down sort of resembles the Perpetual Excalibur designed by Ryan Dening.


    But I have to wonder why the Avenger is Tier 4 and the Regent Tier 5? Shouldn't it be the other way around?




    Just disappointing my Fleet won't reach Tier 4, for another year. Thanks to Cryptic not caring about Small Fleets. :(

    What happened to the other 200 crewmen on this ship? yesterday on redshirt she had 700, now today she has 500....

    maybe govt shutdown effected some of Starfleet as well /shrug

    I really don't care for the look of this ship. The saucer is nice but the rest of it really isn't pretty. Sadly, the flat pylons are an option for the fleet version only. I would like to see more ships in the future with pylons that stick straight out to the sides of the ship and even one to the top and one to the bottom. The basic design of ships in STO seems to be stuck on a very limited look that needs to be diversified, especially for cruisers.

    That is what a battle ship looks like, its slow moving, however can take many targets out in the same area. Honestly, oh and the hull is made from some really strong stuff!

    is the new avenger in a size range of about 280 meters to about 530 meters long and most likely 325 to 350 meters long?

    given the new avenger's hall strength of about 37,000 the closest klingon ship to the hall armor of the new avenger would the retofit and fleet k'tinga class. the weapon layout of the new avenger class at 5 forward and 3 aft put the avenger in the weapons range of the andorian escort, fleet defiant, the jem'har bug ship, semitar mostly

    With that deffinition the Escort?s and carriers are also battle ships, also the shuttles and the transports :P

    I WILL have this ship.

    I don't have the dil to get it tomorrow, but I'll have it soon enough. Then I can finally revamp and reboot my poor engie.

    Nice stats. But why not give the c-store ship the same customization parts as the fleet one has?? makes little sense to lock out cool parts out on a c-store ship imo.

    This ship will be in my hands come tomorrow...

    If the .5 inertia does translate to a 50, then the Avenger should handle better than the Exeter with its 9 turn/40 inertia. So ladies and gents I give you THE T5 CONNIE! :D:eek:

    Really -- let us use the T2 Cruiser skins on this bad boy, we will be sooooo happy!

    Bah, the hell with it. This is the first C-Store item that I've actually wanted to buy since...ever. I'm sure Cryptic will make new Fed interiors sometime down the road...right?

    Is it just me... or with the alternate/flat pylons, does the 'Avenger' class look a little like a derivetive of the Intrepid class? I mean, look at the picture with the flat pylons, then look at an Intrepid/Long Range Science Vessel from the same angle, they do have a similar profile, it seems...

    New Federation bridge and interiors are suposed to be released with S8. Not 100% sure on the whole interiors, but I've seen snapshots of the new bridge.

    want to bet on that when a good person flys it well and gears it very well.. :P... its a good ship nice buffd has everything a ship could want plus the --25 percent power drain and a lot of benefits so I don't know what your talking about O_o... plus it uses cannons so if some one knows how to turn this thing well.. .. and it cloaks so yeah :P..
