Hints of new fleet ships

I checked the descriptions of Stalker Fighters and Fer'jai Frigates on Tribble and noted the new entries to the ship restrictions: Fleet Caitian Atrox Carrier and Fleet Kar'fi Carrier. Speculation time?

    Generic answer: I'll believe it when I see it in the game proper.

    To add to that: That'd be nice and all, and I hope that it happens. Haven't had any fleet ships added to the other two factions in quite awhile, not to mention people have been itching for more Fleet Carriers for awhile.

    Might even get me to buy the Kar'fi if they put that sucker out as a Fleet ship.

    Can someone check Clocking Device and Saucer Sep if there is any mention of a Fleet Galaxy Dreadnought?

    Just checked, the Cloaking Device console lists Fleet Tac Escort Retro, Tac Escort Retro, and Dreadnought Cruiser. No mention of Fleet Dreadnought Cruiser or similar.

    Update: Saucer Separation console doesn't mention Fleet Dread or anything similar.

    With todays patch, Cloaking Device from my Tac Escort Retro now lists Battle Cruiser and Fleet Battle Cruiser. Vet ship consoles also reference Fleet versions.

    Fleet Kar'fi is no surprise, there was a mention in one of the dev Q&A's that a Fleet Kar'fi and Fleet Gurumba were 'being explored'. Hopefully this means the fleet gurumba is in the process as well!

    Yeah i just posted on the other thread ( merge ) that Gecko did say a fleet gurumba is coming soon ( priority one podcast at the beginning of the year i believe ).

    yeah also saw it. right click on info of the stalkers and you see it stating fleet atrox.

    but one main question as the kling counterpart has a specialo console. will the atrox maybe get that benefit also?

    and no news on set updates for quad cannons and saucer.

    great news! this all but confirms

    -fleet Atrox

    -fleet Kar'fi

    -fleet vet ships

    and some new presumably federation battlecruiser. that would be nice, an actual federation non escort that can use DHC. proboly some kind of bigger vesta, hope its turn rate is at least 9.

    or they are decontenting kdf cruisers and raptors, and making thier cloak a console. so they would have to give a up a console to cloak like they can now. it was too op for general kdf ships to have a cloak, nevermind the entire romulan faction with battle cloaks :rolleyes:



    well, a brand new faction ship for feds sounds good! but i will be pissed if this comes out before the negvar refit, that would be VERY poor form, and some of the best fuel yet to the cryptic hates kdf rhetoric

    surprised no one thought to check this one. fleet ar'kif is also confirmed by its console

    Bran mentioned a few days back that the ship in the window at ESD shipyard would be changing soon, now we know what is on the way.

    As much as I hate to say it, the KDF is still getting the shaft here, even with the addition of two very sought-after fleet ships. They should have done the new KDF BC first, or at least both at the same time. And the fleet vet ships and carriers better not be tier 5 - that would just be a slap to the face considering the state of fleets in general on the KDF side :(

    yes, my first thought is that its in EXTREMELY poor taste that some presumably federation 'battle cruiser' will be released before the pushed back about a year now negvar refit were to be released. im totally fine with the federations getting a battlecruiser at the same time though, thats fine, but new fed ship with season 8, and no kdf ship till next year, its like they want us to think they hate the kdf.

    i have a feeling the battle cruiser wont come with the cloak at any level, its just capable of running one, if you can source one from a defiant of galaxy X that you own.

    This is almost certainly going to be a generic fed ship, not a racial, given the comment about it being tin the window at ESD, so not the Ando broadside cruiser either.

    I reckon this Federation Battlecruiser is the 3rd Galaxy variant... meant to replace both the Galaxy and the Gal-X.

    It would also be a test of how we players are accepting of paying zen for essentially a ravamp/upgrade of our old ship.

    the galaxy X is called a dreadnought in game, a battlecruiser would be something different

    Yes and the Galaxy is an Exploration Cruiser; it wouldn't be unheard of if this new Federation Battle Cruiser is a new version of the Galaxy with a different class designation.

    Oh, you think I'm referring to the e-pack - I mean the Tier 1 version (equivalent the the NX), which is EXACTLY what you linked.

    This was the first I have heard of this, and I just checked the wiki, the wiki has different pics than what I linked to. I have never seen the Andorian Battlecruiser from enterprise in game, are you sure?

    Because very few people were stupid enough to buy what amounts to a lifetime sub to Neverwinter (without the accompanying perks) to get it.

    The typical boost in stats +1 eng console for the atrox and +1 tac console for the karfi, What I am most curious about is what the fleet skin will look like for those ships. Will the atrox come in the usual metalic fleet skin or will it have some super special alternate type? There is the potential for much awesomeness, or catastrophic bugly.
