What would you fly if lockbox ships didn't exist?

In this magical, mysterious, fictional STO-verse, what ship would you fly if lockbox ships never existed?

Every other ship in the game exists, just no lockbox ones. So any standard ship, all the C-store ships, and all the current Fleet ships.

(By lockbox I mean: Lockbox drop ships, lobi-store ships, any DOFF pack drop ships, and any free 3rd-faction ships like the Corvette that we've gotten)

Fed tac: Andorian Escort, unchanged
Fed eng: No D'kora, so probably my Fleet Excelsior
Fed sci: Fleet Ambassador most likely, dedicated healer (No more Recluse for him)

KDF tac: Tac-Bortas, unchanged
KDF eng: Kamarag, unchanged
KDF sci: B'rel, unchanged

Rom tac: Scimitar, unchanged
Rom sci: T'varo, unchanged

(Yeah, don't own many lockbox ships, but I'm sure for many others it would be very different)

    I have no lockbox ships, and I like it that way TBH. So no different.
    My old (and now mostly obsolete) exploration suggestions thread. Give it a read. :)

    Fleet patrol for escort(bug) ,oddy to replace the recluse and vesta to replace my wells on my sci toon.

    I use a bugship sometimes and my chel gret for NWS, but other then that I use faction ships more already.

    My characters all switch ships a lot, here is what they use most

    KDF tac- Fleet B'rel, Fleet Hoh'sus, Tac Bortasqu

    KDF Eng- Fleet Voquv, Fleet Corsair, Sci Bortasqu

    KDF Sci- Fleet B'rel

    Fed Tac- Fleet Assault Cruiser, Kumari, Fleet Defiant, Fleet Heavy Escort Carrier

    Fed Sci- Vesta, Oddy, Kumari

    Romulan Tac- Scimitar, Fleet Mogai, Fleet T'Varo, Fleet Dhelan
    Tala -KDF Tac- House of Beautiful Orions

    Were I still playing...

    Fed Sci - Vesta (Target Subs+E Siphon, maybe a working Tyken's Rift drain boat with vanilla polaron weapons)

    Fed Tac 1 - Fleet RSV (Transphasic/TBR boat, maybe a GW 3 now that a fix is in the works, heavy on the supplementary healing, natch)

    Fed Tac 2 - Fleet Assault Cruiser (Aux2Bat Phaser CSV Boat w/ Wide-Angle quantum torp for further spam clearance)

    KDF Tac 1 - Fleet Norgh (who the hell knows what weapons... probably vanilla Distruptors with transphasic cluster torp, EWP, and the upcoming revised GW 3)

    Rom Sci 1 - Fleet Ha'pax or Fleet D'deridex or Tulwar Dreadnought. As a healer, maybe. Probably.
    If you feel Keel'el's effect is well designed, please, for your own safety, be very careful around shallow pools of water.

    KDF Eng would likely go from JHEC to Fleet Kamarag.
    KDF Tac would likely go from Chel Grett to Fleet Tor'Kaht (likely heading there anyway).
    Fed Eng would likely go from Chel Grett to Fleet Assault instead of looking at the Monbosh.
    Fed Tac would likely go from Risian Corvette to Fleet Patrol (likely heading there anyway).

    The other five guys are flying non-Lockbox/Lobi/Event ships (even though they've all got access to the Risian and two of them have access to the Chel Grett).

    I don't fly any lockbox ships or even own one so I already fly a variety of excellent ships that regularly out class, out gun and out maneuver lock box ships...

    I don't fly lockbox ships, and the only one I might own is a Mirror Vor'cha on a non-PvPing character.

    I fly a Fleet Norgh in PvP, that is all. I might eventually switch over to a Fleet B'rel due to the sorry state of the BOP class.

    Any and all Fleet KDF ships. Alas with Lockbox ships being anything but rare ingame, if one does not fly the latest and greatest one is at a disadvantage.

    One does not simply... FLY... a non-Lockbox ship.

    Just sold a Jem'Hadar Dreadnought today for 70,000,000 EC on exchange...not a big fan of the Lockbox Ships. Don't like them. I only like flying Fed ships :) I only fly my Oddy so I would still fly my beautiful Odyssey, and what a beauty she is...

    Frankly Fleet ships are just as good as lockbox/lobi ships. In fact for a fed character the fleet advanced and fleet tactical escorts beat any lockbox ship but the bug.

    Lockbox ships... a lot got shelved with the roms.

    I have a few wells but I almost always end up flying my Fleet Novas anyway.

    Fleet Defiant, since that's what I used most of the time up until a few weeks ago when I got a JHAS.

    I fly a wells so I'd probably go for a fleet nova.As for Romulan Ships, they're way better than any lockbox ships in the most cases (Scimitar I've heard?) so I'd exclude em from this fiction.

    A Fleet Advanced Escort (No not fleet MVAM) . Provided they made one with he Advanced escort boff layout.

    Not So, I have it, Its grate, but I find the difference in time required to make things dead with it compared to a 5 tac console ship is noticeable. I didn't think It would be when I acquired it.

    Don't get me wrong, the temporal destroyer makes up for this in other ways, its a very good ship. But I do not agree that it is a better ship.
