Breen set ugrade?

I know it's been asked before, but I didn't want to pull a Necro.

Has anyone heard any news on if there will be a Breen set upgrade, such as the Jem'Hadar set upgrade?

    I haven't heard anything, but I wouldn't be surprised to see an upgraded added to the Lobi Store.
    STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

    Well, that's disappointing. I kinda figured that much, though.

    If anyone has any inside info, it would be much appreciated. A Dev response would be awesome, though I don't expect one.

    I kind of figured that it would be an option during the next Winter Event, but haven't heard anything about it yet.

    I would not be surprised to see a Breen Lockbox in the future with a Plesh Brek escort and a Sarr Theln carrier, as they already have the Chel Grett with its console that can be equipped "on any Breen ship".

    We will likely get a Mk. XII upgrade when that happens.

    I for one would very much like an upgrade to that as i use it on my Risian Corvette in a transphasic and antiproton build.
    Inertia just means you can do Powerslides in you carrier!

    I'd be happy if they would drop the "unique" on the Breen sets and let us have more than one. How am I supposed to have a set on my Ship and my Shuttle with them being unique and one per character?

    It'd be interesting to see the Rogue Breen become a faction.... That Nobody Remembers existing......



    At least then there'd be a full reason to upgrade a lot of the Breen weapons. x.x

    Because he wants them to match possibly. Maybe he uses the transphasics on his shuttle too, and wants the energy drain to boot.

    The main problem with this set is that it's not endgame, an upgrade would do nicely for most people. I say the breen episodes should of been put back to the beginning of your career, when the series was early on in the game the breen set was perfect for leveling up.

    Interesting idea.

    Back to the question at hand, i have not heard from any upgrades to the breen set.

    I would love to have the option to equip it on multiple vessels though.
    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    Would love to see an upgrade to the Breen space set as well. I was delighted to see I was now able to upgrade my Jem'Hadar space set thru the Lobi store; so why not offer the same for the Breen?

    C'mon, Cryptic, an easy way for you to grab an extra buck! :)

    The only reason I asked about this is because I'm actually using the same setup for my Risian Corvette as well.

    It's a great setup for something that was meant for strafing runs. Makes me happy someone else is using the same loadout.

    yeah cause THAT was a good idea (double picard facepalm)

    They seriously need to stop using the Lobi store for everything and then give us penny equivalent box currencies. Some of us would actually like to buy some of these sets for our ships we bought in the stores with dilithium, you know your in game currency that's so often ignored with some of this?!

    I always wondred why the Breen set on a Breen ship gives no additional ability or skill like the other sets do.
