I posted this on your sister game, because they are a different team of developers. I truly would like a dev answer on this because it just seems that people who claim to be gamers themselves should understand on some level the need for such things for ease of use and alt gearing. I personally know I'm not the only one who's posted this on the suggestion forums for this game before (back before this game went F2P we asked for it with items that dropped from dungeons).
Reputation/Fleet gear should all be Bind on Account. Even when equipped.
They should be interchangeable so that we can gear our alts well and without worry of gathering even more currency just because some is wasted.
Who exactly does it harm to allow for gear to be BoA? We can't sell it cept to vendors for low return. Why is it so hard for devs to understand that Rep/Fleet gear could be saved and distributed amongst our alts easily without the need to continuously rep grind per toon or grind even more currency per toon just to get the things we need as atl players?!
Who do I contact at PWE and how to get this seen to, not just in this title but in NWO as well because we've been asking this of the devs for a very long time now in this title as well as in NWO prior to open beta and no one has hinted responded or even mentioned it in any of the interviews (not counting the account wide reputation thing)?
"BoA" normally means "Bind on Acquire", which is the opposite of what you are asking. Just sayin'.

Heard a recent interview with Dstahl on the Priority One Podcast Episode 136 (he talks about multiple accounts at minute 41, he specifically starts talking about the reputation system.
He acknowledged that it was a bit grindy (my word not his) he said "it feels more like work, and I want it to feel more like a reward".
Anyways its an interesting listen.
But to the second point on equipment, at the beginning of the multiple accounts segment, i belive he said they are not looknig to make changes to that at this time.
Thanks for the reply but I wasn't talking about multiple accounts I was talking about gear on the same account.
1 account can have multiple character slots and they do need to think about it because it's not just a problem on this game it's a problem on Neverwinter as well. They want us to buy more character slots complete with xp enhancements, bag slots, etc but they don't want to make it easier for people who have maxed out rep to buy gear on one toon and make it available to the other without a hitch or buy fleet gear on one toon for another toon that just got to max level? It's counter productive on their part, people won't want to play alts, Romulan or not Delta Quadrant or not because they'd have to go thru the long drawn out grind again.

Makes no business sense at all.
If people decide to max out rep on several characters, they're likely to try and avoid the tedious grind. The easiest way to do this is to invest real money. You still have to grind the marks though...
Anyway, I'd hope that wasn't their intent - but it is a possible motivation
I don't think the rep system is enough of a deterrent yet, although It is getting there.

But it isn't, because you CAN'T simply throw money at the problem. There is absolutely no amount of Zen you can throw at this to make it go away, so there isn't even any money to be had from it. The easiest way is NOT therefore to "invest real money", because I cannot throw any amount of Zen at the problem to avoid it.
It is funny that there are some gears (uncommons, rares, etc) that are bound to the account that can be transferred between characters on the same account. also, there are even some items that are not even bound that be traded across accounts. they want the rep to be grindy because it gets you to play content and when you play more they get better numbers and better numbers look good when they show it to PWE.
