Are the "time" limits really needed?

I am talking about the time it takes to complete stuff. I think a great new LTS bonus would be a 50- 75% reduction in these times .

I think not... Those time limits are in place to buffer your progress through the reputation. So that you have a month or two worth of progress, and not just a week.

The reputation is DESIGNED to give you something to do between content releases. It's suppose to take you a while so that the devs have time to catch up and maybe make a new featured episode, or some other fun thing we can do.

It is also timegated so that it will be fair to both casual and pro gamers. This way, after you had done an hours worth of missions, you are done. There is no more real progress you can do to make it go any faster, besides stock up for tomorrow. The same logic is behind the Dilthium refinement. Once you hit past a certian mark, you are done. Any more grinding will be somewhat pointless. Thus, keeping the person who has an hour to play a day in almost the same boat as someone who grinds 16 hours a day. =

Making it a bonus for a LTS to burn through these quicker will defeats the purpose.

Oh I see, you have a lifetime subscription which makes you far more important than the rest of us.

You don't want to wait, so instead of slashing the waiting times across the board - just give it to those who bought a lifetime subscription!

    What an amazing idea!

Also, I think a far more sensible suggestion is to just remove time-gating on any reputation once it's complete on one character.

I.E Once you have your main up to T5 omega, any alts which start doing the omega rep will have the project times reduced from 20h to 5s.

While i was trying NOT to have this sentiment, I do agree. LTS should have SOME perks, but nothing along the lines of game breaking or reducing the game for them. I'm F2P, but i have sinked more than a lifetime Sub into the game, and I have been dedicated to this game for almost two years. I really don't want to see it get messed up by having two tiers of players...

I agree with you on this, LTS already get the perks they paid for. Now the OP is nitpicking for more!!!

Let's NOT segregate the people who want to throw $200 at the game and the casual players who spend no money on it or just drop 10 bucks here and there, 'kay?
I ask nothing but that you remember me.
