Fatal Error Corrupt pig file...??

The game keeps crashing at random for the last week.
Most of the times a get the follow:

Fatal Error: Corrupt pig file detected
Read failed for file:
Texture Library/Costumes/Avatars/Aliengen/Kobali/F Head Kobali 01
N.Wtex
:

what is that and how can I fix it? I suppose it has to do with my character appearance or no? And will be fixed if I change something and what?
But this happens both in space and ground.

I did the checking all files it requested 2-3 times but no luck.

Any suggestions or any ideas?

    Whats happening is that the data is being corrupted, either on Disk, or in Memory. To fix the problem, you're going to have to track down the cause of the data corruption...

    Things that can cause Data corruption include...
    • Hard Disk getting ready to die.
    • Overclocked/Overheated/Undervolted/Failing RAM
    • Loose Cables and PCI cards
    • Failing Power Supply.
    • Old cheap motherboard who's capacitors can start to fail in as little as 3 years.
    • Interference from third party utilities (e.g. Anti-Virus or Malicious Trojan)

    I thought of that and started checking but in that case shouldn't I have problems with other applications too?
    and why having always the same file in fail message??

    If its a intermittent problem, then the odds are that the program you spent the most time using, or perhaps the one that is using the most memory, that will show the problem first...

    (So be honest, what do you spend the most time with... STO or 'other' applications ???)

    ok got your point :) I'll start testing things out and hope I'll found it
    I'll get back here when I have any results or if nothing works.

    Since data files are loaded in the same order during initialization of the STO Client, and it is the same file that is reporting the corruption problem, this may be a hint that this is a memory related issue...

    For anyone that may have a similar problem,
    after some search in older forum threads (and still no reply to the crash report -wonder why they even have this thing)

    An old post but it sure did the job... Just had to wait for some time for the launcher to update again the files but the game seems working ok now... (3 days with no crashes)
    Don't know the guy's name cause it is an archived post but thank you who ever you are!:)
