When i got my new computer, i wanted to max out the graphics. so i maxed everything out except anti-aliasing and it looks amazing. everything has a slight jagged edge (and no half resolution isnt on) but it looks fantastic. The shadows are smooth, Bloom works and makes things bright. So then i decided i wanted Anti-Aliasing on because it will make the game look that much better. I turned it up slowly to x2 and immediately my shadows all had jagged edges, and Bloom Effect along with underwater view, cinematic depth, all turned off.
1. Does anyone have any idea why it does this? or how to fix it?
and
2. Does anyone have any tips to truely maximize Graphic Quality in the game.
Here are my specs:
Video Card: Nvidia GeForce 525m w/optimus (and yes i have the Nvidia card enabled.)
Ram: 6GB
Processor: Intel Core i5
And before you say anything about my graphics card, just know that other games that have better graphics than Star Trek Online run fantastically, and even with anti-aliasing on ive had no issues. so im thinking this is a Star Trek Online issue.
Any Suggestions?

I prefered smooth edges, so i went for the AI option.. (I7 cpu, Geforce GT 540M).
