Would it be possible to make the Corvette account bound?

Rather than character bound. I really don't have a toon of high enough level that could use it at the moment, that I would want to use it with. I only have enough time to do a handful of things when I log on. A limitation other have.

At this point, I'll have one of these ships when the event is all over, but I don't have ship slots for it, and I'll never use it on this toon. It would be nice to be able to trade it to another character that will be using it (if we can trade amongst our characters).

    i wish a lot of items were account bound.
    [12:35] Vessel Two of Two Unimatrix 01 deals 225232 (271723) Plasma Damage to you with Plasma Lance.
    [12:44] Vessel One of Two Unimatrix 01 deals 1019527 (1157678) Kinetic Damage to you with Plasma Energy Bolt Explosion.

    I was hoping this had more support. It's still possible for them to change this aspect of the ship. No one will be able to sell it.

    Possible? Without a doubt. Will they do it? Most certainly not.

    many of the people here on the forums have learned not to hold our breaths for anything from Cryptic, generally it is impossible to change something once they have made up their mind. Sounds like a good idea, just Cryptic will never do it.

    Alternatively: a lot of people here don't have their Corvettes yet, so have no way of knowing yet if it's even worth an account-wide unlock. As with the Breen ship from the winter event, most folks will probably abandon this thing a couple weeks later.

    That said, my idea for account-wide unlocks for ships? Make it a one-time Z-Store purchase. 500 or even 1000 Zen to use any character-bound ship on all characters? I'd pay that in a second and I have a feeling that I'm not the only one, despite how much people here might stomp and fit about it.

    It's an Escort with bonus movement based defense a Lt.Cmdr Eng boff slot, and a universal Lt. slot. I don't think very many people who get it are going to abandon it aside from those who think it's ugly and are more focused on aesthetics than gameplay. It can easily be the tankiest Escort in the game even with a suboptimal build.
