Looking for insight in surviving drain builds

What do people do to counter drain builds? Any ideas for a science PvP guy playing pure space magic? I saw this person using aceton, siphon drones, energy siphon and some subsystem targeting, tyken's rift, probably other drain mechanics I'm not even aware of etc etc. Basically all the drain cheese possible, I was probably victim f it. I couldn't do anything, had to sit there and wait for my inevitable death, that came rather too quickly for my liking.

So far AoE and speed have been unsuccessful for me. Can't just run away from battle like an escort.
I have AoE mainly in the form of torpedo spread and gravity well. That's about it. Walp!!!
I also do have points in power insulator, but looking at the drain I've suffered, I might as well not have any.

I really hoping the solution is not to give up on magic space science lol :D. I quite like it (except when I'm facing drains... ugh)!

AoEs. It's pretty much the only thing you can do.

EPtE to move away from them, they shouldnt be ale to catch you unless you let them. EWP requires no power levels to be effective, and it roasts drones on contact, TBR doesn't need aux to deal damage, those can deal with drones that get you too. 9 into power insulators can protect you pretty well from everything else

first of all, 6 points in pi is almost mandatory if you want to be a successful pvper, against darain builds ? if you are talking about pets, yes gw or repulsors will do de job nicely, slot in a plasmonic leach, it gives you power and it drains some aux so it means weaker drains, if you are a sci be sure you are using a beam target aux. maco shield passive and some power insulator consoles instead of shield gens will do the thing, dont Forget that all those shield gens sometimes are too much, reduce a little bit your weapons power to put more 5 or 10 in each subsystem and youll do just fine, dont Forget the best way to counter a drain build is a disable build, and vice versa, slot phaser weapons and a vm if you can

    To mitigate the drain:

At least 99 points in power insulators from skills and gear (consoles/defletctor/etc).

Plas leech or Maco. (for gain)

    A boff w/ES (energy syphon).

Aux2batt build w/tech doffs. (nice power boosts)

Scramble Sensors any pets. (let them drain each other or the spammer)

Ware core eng doffs. +25 all systems on proc

Jump consoles, Rommy singularity jump ability, aux2damp, etpe, high engine preset, evasives, deut should all allow the ability to move away from any syphon drones etc.

Situational awareness. Avoid flying in the middle of spam fest. Pay attention to any boff ability cycles and avoid forward arc during uptime of tykens.

    To kill pets:

AoE: EWP, TBR (pets and or spammer), Mines w/DP, TS3, CVS3 (though some things you want non-energy strikes), your own GW/TR (both do damage and may kill/disrupter w/e is draining you). PSW stuns TB draining pets.

    Or:

    Kill the spammer(s) w/teamplay.

Ok man, even if english isn't your first language, can you please make some sort of attempt to punctuate and/or create sentence structure? Also, you've had a type-o in that ridiculous signature for months now.

Okay, I have seen the other advice... I faced many of these punks with this build in Kerrat.

1st things 1st when facing a Drain Monster JAM SENSORS 1

2nd Use Evasive Manuvers to close in and unleash a Breen Cluster Bomb Torpedo Barrage

3rd Cover him with Theta Radiation and use Tractor Beam 1
    4th Scramble Sensors 1
5th Viral Matrix 3 and Sub Nuke him [All the while unleashing torps as they come available like a Harpeng or Rapid Fire Transphasic. That way you have different torps on different cooldowns so you always have some sort of weapon coming online. I also love the chroniton beam in the fore it really gets under thier skin.

6th set off your Bio-neural Warhead
7th set off your Point Defense System
8th Torp spread II [If flying a Wells ship use Time Stop for maximum effect]

9th Use your Impulse Capicator to escape if you need to...

I did this flying an Intrepid Torp Boat and was very successful. Sometimes the best defense is a good offense. Oh and one other thing they hated was the Ablative Armor Console it made tachyon beam useless against me.Nothing infuriates them as prey that can escape thier range. You might even want to employ the Subspace Jumper Console for extra passes making them think they have been sensor jammed....[hehehheheh]
