Right, just did ISE followed by CSE, and got 11 neurals for both missions.....
Thing is, I died twice in both, was a sci in a vesta(so not even close to being highest DPS).
Under normal circumstances, I would consider myself lucky to get 11 once a week over 3 toons!!!!!
Am definately not complaining, but what are the requirements(if any) for getting 11, is it just random, as I woud not have ever expected to get 2 in a row, esp with a 'less than optimal' capt and build.....

I do get 11 processors quite regularily though it seems to be completely random. I'm a average player with not enough time/money/effort to min/max my chars so it can't be bound to anything meassurable.
I would also like to see more loot in STFs and the like, though. If I go into an elite STF I'd kinda expect some "elite" loot instead of batteries and mk x shields <.<

i gotta call BS here. on the old loot system i did over 150 elite STFS and didn't get a SINGLE mk 12 tech drop.
Then you are SERIOUSLY unlucky - I equipped all my toons with Mk 12 shields in fewer runs (per toon).

Since this change i've done easily 300+ stfs between my fed and rom and i've gotten 11 processors over 50 times.
It's still random and it's still rare, but NO WHERE near as rare as the mk12 tech drop.
I think this is correct.
Pre-reputation I still had all the Mk 12 gear and had run hundreds of STFs, and have run hundreds more since.
The drop of 11 processors is more common than a mk 12 tech drop. Pretty substantially, I get 11 processors very regularly. Way more than the 1/6 you're suggesting!

Ehhh for me it's about the same, I got gear tech drops pretty often about as often as I get 11 BNP's today.

Guess how grumpy a buddy of mines was after I played my first ESTF with him and got the proto drop for a Mk12 shield while he hadn't gotten his yet even though it was his 130th run on the same mission on that particular character.
The old system could be incredibly infuriating.
The purple tech drops weren't THAT rare; I equipped all six of my characters with full Mk XII sets (a few of them have all three sets that were available through the STF system at the time), and only two of them have the *insert system here* Service Medals.
Sure beats grinding through a long, time-gated resource sink that only leads to massive purchase prices for the stuff you want, once you finally reach the end.

I would appreciate much much more loot tho, I cant care less, for marks and processors

Praetor of the -RTS- Romulan Tal Shiar fleet!
It's entirely possible that I'm remembering wrongly, and that the tech drop were more common for me than I thought!
Kirk's Protege.
I am only relaying what I was told by a dev, way back when they were introduced.
The drop rate was probably increased to coincide with the new loot, but it is still the same loot table the old tech drops were on.
I myself ran over 800 stf's in the old system, yet never had a complete ground or space Mk12 set.
