Is it worth hanging on to these things for a science captain? I've got like 100 of em now and the only thing they seem to be good for is getting me out of trouble in a pinch.
Science is tanking and De-buffing of hostiles. Yes, the deuterius surplus is worth it.
Extra speed, turn rate and defense. They're very good.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
They're my standard device #3 on everything with 3 or 4 device slots.
I keep 5 in the slot, 5 in my pack (in case I forgot to restock a ship) and 10 in the bank. The rest are discarded on the spot. Irritating that they are bound to character. No reason for it at all
Before LoR and the Emergency Power to Engines Buff, I could totally destroy most escorts in PvP by making good use of Evasive Maneuvers and Deuterium Batteries. :cool:
As such of course I tend to do the daily mission dilligently and stockpile ahead of time.
