#1 Fix costumes. We have a long thread in the Art of STO subforum that gives detailed documentation of many of the tailor issues in STO. Give us better color options, more customization, and less clipping. Give us costume options for our exchange officers. And remove 'off duty', 'formal', and 'uniform gating'. Make all costume parts mix and matchable.

#2 STFs. The STF community has been playing the same 3 ground, and 3 space STFs for a long time. The Hive was a nice addition, but the lack of greater rewards for such a tough mission makes it kind of useless. Terradome could be revamped into a usable STF if it were split in two and added to the queue system with good rewards. We need to see some STFs for the other reputation systems, Romulan/Elachi STFs and Nukara/Tholian STFs, and if additional reputation systems are added, they need STFs too. More enemies than just the borg please. This goes for ground as well as space. Don't forget about ground!

#3 Touch ups. Lots of little bugs have thrived all around this game. Just take your time and address some of the biggies. Also, return some things like the Emotes that are no inaccessible to the players, put some of the pre-order items in the c-store, and just make the Jupiter and Typhoon available for people who want them. Just because they're ugly does not mean they do anyone any harm.

We don't need a huge season for season 9. You've given us a lot to sink our teeth into. All we need for season 9 is a fresh coat of paint. In fact, that's what you should call it "Season Nine: A Fresh Coat of Paint".

100% agreed with OP, hope it's true what Dan said in the interviews and the next season will evolve around endgame (STFs and the like). And more costumes and fixing them up would be insanely nice as well!

While I really like all the new stuff Cryptic come up with (LoR - Awesome; Summerevent Map- breathtaking beautiful) I nearly totally agree with the OP (I would switch positions of #2 & #3).

The amount of bugs while not game-breaking are beginning to be a turn-of for STO and starts to give all the cool new and not so new stuff a cheap feeling. :(

I agree with the definite lack of additional STFs (not to mention STFs that involve Tholians for a even Nukara Marks Reward in comparrison to Omega Marks Overflow ^^) but i have to pull the brake on the Idea with Terradome. Becoming a STF? Ok, no complain from me. But splitting it like they did with the other ones? NO, pls. I'am still hoping for a third STF queue option (call it "ultra elite" if you want) where you will play the mission how they where back before the great splitting.

But let Terradome (the only real Endgame mission left in this game) becoming the same farmfest 15min dps competition... no thanks.

I'm actually fine with them leaving it how it is, I just wish they'd bring the rewards up to par then.

If I had to choose three distinct additions to Season #3, then they would be as follows:

#1: Reputation & Marks (possibly via STF's) ~ more STF's (focusing on the Tholian and Elachi) would be welcome, however I'd much prefer the reputation system to be account wide instead of character only. Would also be nice to have some 10-team STF's, rather than 5-team too. More chaos, and less struggle if one or two players decide to quit out.

The simple reason for this is the grind; I can't imagine many people enjoy grinding for one character, let alone more. I have four characters myself, all of which are around levels 12 & 13 (I've recently restarted). Come level #50, I'll have three sets of reputation to grind for four characters. That's not going to be enjoyable at all.

#2: Background Additions ~ background chatter in Space STF's (as one example). We heard such in First Contact and during the Dominion Wars, I think this would be a nice addition and would make for more of a combat experience. Furthermore I'd like to see day and night on the main social planets (Starfleet Academy, Risa, Q'onos, New Romulus etc). It ain't much, but it would add to the atmosphere. It doesn't necessarily have to be in sync to real world time. You could just have 4x maps (day, night, dusk & dawn) and you end up with a random one per instance.

    #3: Tier #5 Constitution

Hear me out here. We've been told that CBS wont allow it, whether that's true or not, it still doesn't make sense. The Klingons have the B'rel, the Romulans have the T'Varro; both of these are older than the Constitution Refit. Not to mention we're able to run around Earth Space Dock (or elsewhere) wearing TOS (and even ENT-era) uniform (at end game). I'm struggling to find the ... logical consistency that doesn't allow for an end-game Constitution. Wouldn't be so bad if they limited it to the Exeter, Vesper and that other one. But no, we're not able to have any of them?

This I wouldn't mind. I think of my exchange officer more as a defector, and as such, they should be able to join Starfleet and work up the ranks.

I don't agree with this. Why would you need to mix and match duty uniform with off duty? The specific options are there for a reason.

Because it may please me to do so.

Why would you oppose the addition of options? It doesn't force you into anything different.

You forget that from the business point of view they need some new shiny thing to generate new sales. Because of this, what you suggest is impossible, as it un-marketable. ("Hey guys, rememeber how our game sucked ? Now we fixed it !" isn't the best way to get new customers)

I agree totally that what you ask should be in game. But not as a new season. Except the new STFs, the mentioned issues should be fixed asap, regardless of season.

Totally agree 100% with the OP especially on point #2

    1. There are a lot of players who can run all six KA/Infected/Cure STFs almost literally without looking at the screen. I still have to, but it's simply time for some new ones. I agree that the the two Hive ones were nice additions, if a little lacking on the 'puzzle' side of things (think shield room on KA, consoles IG, etc), and they need accolades for the optionals and some kind of completion tally service medal accolade. That is at the very least. Maybe Dilithium x2 or x1.5? Double Processors? Guaranteed Mk XII purple drops?

2a. I'd like more cohesion and some retouching of many things for Romulans too. More recognition of being Romulan Are we allied to or liaison officers to Starfleet and KDF on different sides of a civil war or are we RRF? It's a little confusing sometimes...

2b. Give the Klingons some love.

    3. And yea, gotta go with a massive bug cleanup as third choice. Bugs are inevitable and for the most part, none of them make the game unplayable or whatever, but there are an awful lot of small ones that are very noticable. I won't list them here, there's a forum section and a list of tickets full of them.

No. Your fun makes everyone else's fun wrong by default.
