Interesting experience, here is my thoughts.

First off if your KDF and the areas resets and dumps you at the spawn point if you don't have cloak expect to die, I always end up surrounded by Feds and get blown up.

Still managed to make two or three player kills.

Blowing up cubes, tac cubes and hulks can net some nice loot. I got a purple photon torp with accx2 and one other mod I forget.

I also got contraband from a loot pickup, not from slsvvcers or a doff assignment but from loot drop. Never seen that before.

Interesting indeed. That's why I like it :)

    1) Before the reset timer ends, set your ship to full impulse and fly around (out of combat). You will still be in full impulse when you respawn, and can then fly DOWN and RIGHT with evasives too, to get out of the battle zone.

    2) Excellent!

    3) Ker'rat is often very teeter-totter in terms of side distribution. Often times, the zone will be stock full of either KDF or Feds. (Unless of course you do what I did, pull together a 5 man team of engineers and clean out 10+ KDF using cruisers. KDF weren't happy!)

    4) Yes, if I can ever find the time to stop shooting my friends in Ker'rat, I would probably be a rich man from the great loot drops.

1: Doesn't always work. Timer doesn't always display for me, for example, so I don't get enough warning that the zone's about to reset (a stupid concept to begin with, that reset warp out/in). Also, if some TRIBBLE manages to 'load' faster and snap off a CPB or some other area-effect ability, or some Feddie laid mines on the spawn like a no-talent hack, then the odds of you remaining 'out of combat' are pretty low.

3: It's my experience that the odds are usually against the KDF. Especially recently, with the change to the zone reset spawnpoint (used to respawn on the KDF at restart, with an inevitable Federation spawncamp). I've been in zones where it's me and 1-2 other KDF with 10 Feddies in the zone. Doesn't help that the map change option is still completely borked, so people can't easily switch between zones to try keeping the odds even. They even fixed the 'side switching' bug so fair-play-minded Feddies can't play KDF to even the odds, but kept the map change borked. Frustrating. . .

4: Loot drops are nice, but I often can't really engage in farming Borg because there are too many Feddies who are willing to shoot you while you're shooting PvE, and the Feddies usually have the numerical/firepower advantage.

I love Ker'rat because it's such a chaotic free for all. :D Anything can happen. :)
There's Starfleet, there are Klinks, now there are Rommies too and Borg NPCs to spice it up. :P

I go for the daily dil and the loot. It annoys the PvP mob that use Kerrat as a shooting gallery but thats the funny thing about Kerratt its a mix of stf and PvP in one lump. Taks yer side choose your plan hopes it works! :D

Welcome to Kerrat! It's an open PvP zone, be ready for it. Spawn camping isn't nice. I hate when people do it. :(

Funny thing, how 99% of the time it's the feds that are spawn camping, yet the KDF always gets picked on for doing it (which I've only seen once or twice, ever). Also, the Feds are more commonly the ones running away, yet they always laugh at the KDF for it. I guess they don't realize how fragile a BoP is. Oh, I could go on for days about the irony of Kerrat, but I'll stop here.
I ask nothing but that you remember me.
