Question about the Bird Doff missions

phadrenphadren Member Posts: 159 Arc User
So first, Great Job on the event its a lot of fun and have met some really nice ppl while dancing :). If this is any reflection of the future content, the future of STO looks good.

So it takes 4 days to get a Senior bird and have 4 going from egg to senior, my question is when the event ends will we still be able to raise our existing eggs in inventory and or will we be able to turn in birds that are still cooking? Guess what I am asking is if the "Bird Lady" will still be there after the event ends, and still offer the doff missions.

Thanks for your time:)

Why are Klingons raising Birds? Are you going to feed them to your Targs or train them to hunt Tribbles? Both options are against Federation Policy...you will be hunted down and destroyed...just so you know.

But a GREAT question...do we stop raising birds 4 days before the end of the event, or just end up with a bunch of little chickens running around?

Time for to get more Favors...:P

Well we Train them to hunt tribbles, and when they get old we use them to feed our Gorn:) Not to mention the unhatched eggs make great snacks, and the Orion women pay quite a price and or "trade" favors for the feathers.

After the event you can keep what you have or sell them to a vendor. I still have some generations of winter ephohs from the winter event. Perhaps I can raise them further with the next winter event.

Its funny I had several cats and I got them as kitten and they are so cute, but they grow up. Here you can keep your little kid pet as long as you want. Isn't that great?

Like the question too, waiting for an answer, but LOVE your ideas too... have the birds eat the tribbles and then feed the bird to a targ! But I do wonder what I would end up with, a very hungry multicolored targ?

After the winter event they moved the NPC for epohhs so we can hope the same for birdies.

We had to stop feeding the birds to Targs after some bones got caught in the throat of one of the Chancellors favorite Targs, so we just let the Gorn eat em.

It is perfectly appropriate for an Orion Pirate to have a Parrot on her shoulder.

If I remember correctly you can turn the bird in at any stage you have the bird in for Marks.

Yeah the older they are and if they are tufted will grant you more marks.

Im hanging onto my birds raising them all to the maximum. I'll then pick a few to keep and convert the rest to marks. I have 6 toons on the go at the moment with about 12 birds on the go all told.

Question: Ive not actually used a bird to take a look at it in case i then cant hand it in or continue rearing it. Can i use it and still raise/ convert it?
