Okay, before I continue I just want to go with saying that I DO NOT support any idea that Cryptic should add content or work on anything that's not important before fixing all of the bugs that LoR brought or anything of that nature. That should be the priority at the moment. That being said, I'm sure most of you have noticed what I'm talking about in the topic. It is especially noticeable in the largest ships, like the Odyssey and the Vo'quv (my personal experiences). I assume through common sense that the Caitian, Bortas, and Dreadnought have this problem too. It's a little frustrating seeing the ship charge of its warp nacelles and then warp out, only to see its model on the very end of the map. I do have a few solutions to this annoyance. The first one is that Cryptic makes the ship's model go farther out to where it becomes smaller, and then make the model disappear before we can see the model just abruptly stop. My other, more preferred option is that they change the warp look entirely. My idea is that they make warping look more like it does in JJ Trek (I think I can already hear the moans from future readers). I know many of you hate Abrams's new Treks, but I think he made warping look the way it should, instantaneous to the human eye. After all, it is about moving faster than the speed of light (even though the ship doesn't move at all, I know). So what Cryptic, IMO, should do is just remove the model after the whole warp nacelles charge-up thing is done, and then leave a trail or something of that nature to show that the ship didn't simply "disappear". Anyway, that's my opinion on how they could fix it, but one way or another, I hope they do fix it at some point, because I'm a little tired of watching my ship move really fast, stop randomly, and then just disappear.
