What happen to the 2nd hanger? :: Scimitar ::

paradise1killerparadise1killer Member Posts: 145 Arc User
One variant was suppose to have 2 hanger.
This was stated in a interviews.....

I'am so use to sto , :: dev team::
"lets promise them something"
"give them hope"
"nah let do the opposite"

players- "WHY"

team -"you mad bro?
Working as intended"

Players- "I cant stop throwing money at you"

I feel that the same BO and same set up is a terribly lazy bundle to put together.

Take away a rear weapon and give me a real carrier pls

Love how you want to take away the rear weapon, and not the 5th forward weapon.

Also link the interview or it didn't happen.

If the Scimitar had two hangar bays, how could they sell you the full carrier whenever they get around to releasing it?

Read the tribble forum June stuff, and you'll see all the hype around the 2 hangers and other details.

Again, Why sell you a Scimitar with 2 hangar bays now, when they can sell you a Flight Deck Scimitar now and a full carrier later?

    *said in fat TRIBBLE voice*

    I ate the second hangar!

Oh Aye, I ate it, thought it looked like a baby, it tasted like a baby.

I'm higher up the food chain then the Scimatar, the other hangar should get in my belly too!

The first tasted great with ketchup, maybe I'll have the other hangar with a side of haggis and Patatoes!

    *Fat TRIBBLE voice off*

    I love that movie.,

The Scimitar seems to overpowered even with just one hangar. It allows you to shield yourself while cloaked or fire weapons while cloaked, additional shields, a standard romulan battle cloak, and a superweapon. Adding another hangar is just too much.

You cannot have ALL the bells and whistles of the Scimitar, be potentially strong on offense, handle well for a ship its size, have Battle Cloaks, have nifty consoles, AND still have the benefit of being a 2-hangar carrier.

Even the offensively strong Jem'Hadar Dreadnought Carrier and KDF Kar'Fi give up things to be a 2-hangar carrier.

Every time a dev talks about the game it is always qualified by "things are subject to change".

What would be the point of testing if they just give you what was on the design board months earlier?

This is why developers say less and less about things coming down the pipe. People take every statement as "a promise" even though the word promise is never actually used.

The Devs tell you what they are planing to do.

Everyone should already know, through experience, that plans never survive the first encounter with the enemy.

Situations are dynamic. Plans will change.
