If it wouldn't be to much trouble could you please change the Flying high timer from being accumulative to having a daily reset time like the Dil timer.
I don't know about every one else but I'm not always on at the same time everyday but because I was late one day now I'm forced to constantly do it in the middle of the night or risk losing a day later to get my ship.
It's not like I'm not putting in my time I just don't think I should be punished because those hours are inconsistent.;)
It's once every twenty hours, so you can actually push it back if you want by four whole hours each time.
Try it and see.
Yes I'm aware of that but that's a four hour window which means I have to consistently get up near midnight to slowly push the timer back where as if it was a fixed reset I could do it at any time of the day.
The problem with it being a fixed reset would mean that I could log on at 23:50 GMT and do the race one wait ten minutes and do it again. I get two days in one.
That is presumably why it's on a 20 hour cooldown.
Well no you don't. If you do it at midnight one night, you can then do it again at 8pm the following day, 4pm the day after and so on.

Ah it's not clocked time where someone has to put in so many hours to get rewarded all you have to do is show up and complete the mission.
So it's still two days for both parties it adds up the same only difference is one person logged in earlier.

I'm saying those times maybe inconvenient for some people or if you're consistently late like me ahem yeah I'm a terrible procrastinator you start losing time. I'm not saying it can't be worked around but it would be more convenient for some of us if it was a set timer.

Soo don't be late then, work at it to get it to suit you. It's not hard.
There's a buffer included. Cryptic provided 35 days to do the event 25 times. Since the CD on the mission is 20 hours and not 24 hours, there's actually the opportunity to run the event 42 times in the 35 days...and you only need to run it 25.

So basically, you want the system changed because you are a slacker?
To that all I can say is this a game and I shouldn't have to write my schedule around an arbitrary timer that serves no purpose other than to be an inconvenience. It's not like I'm not doing the missions so I hardly call it slacking. Well okay I fell asleep that one day but in my defense I was there an hour before the reset and would have done it then and there if I didn't have to wait for it to count down.:P

Well it would certainly be easier if they were all at the same timer my alt is on a different timer so I tend to forget about one or the other which ends up pushing back my time. I'm at 3am in the morning for one right now.

*sigh* But but I don't want to be the last one on the block to have one!:P

Actually, you can already do that. The mission pickup timer counts from the time you last picked up the mission, not when you last completed the mission, I.E., if you pick up the mission tonight at midnight on one or however many characters, but don't activate your floater (which triggers the 10 minute countdown), then if you complete the missions the next day at 8 PM, you'll immediately be able to pick the mission up again.
Of course, it only takes three minutes, so it seems like a hassle to me, but you can if you want to.
Honestly this makes sense for a lot of things in the game. I do question why some things in the game have a personal timer, and other have a global timer. Some of these make sense, like the STFs and fleet missions, mostly because they are on a short timer. But the longer ones, like the timers for doff missions, or the "dailies," why bother? Why not just make it a global timer for these, as long as everyone knows about the cut off time? We already have stuff like this for the bonus events. As for the issue of someone double dipping by doing one mission before the cut off and one after, you do know that the dilithium refining timer is the same way, right? You can refine up to 16,000 dilithium in one day, but after that you have to wait the 24 hours until the reset.

For me it's very convenient the way it is, I've pushed it back to the morning hours, allowing me to do it when I get on, on all characters.
