Mail problem

I get notified via mail that a posting on the Exchange has expired and item is being returned, but there is no item in the email to pull back into my inventory. When there are multiple messages such as this, some contain the item and some don't. So I attempt to delete the emails, including the ones without the items and the ones without the items do not delete! So I click out of the mail and when I click back in all emails are gone. Strange. Anyone else have this issue?:confused:

    I haven't been having this particular issue. But I have been noticing that the mail icon button glows saying that I have NEW email - when actually no, I don't have any new emails.

    It is a little annoying. But ah well :cool:

    consider yourself lucky....my in-game e-mail does not work at all. cant send or receive mail going on 2 weeks now. and no reply to my numerous tickets...

    I have the same problem...but there is an odd fix that worked for me.

    As soon as I open up a trouble ticket on it...those emails disappear. There is no rhyme or reason why...but they do.

    Steps I take: 1. reclaim anything that did not sell, then go down the list and delete each email...some will delete, some won't.

    2. Close mail, open a ticket up on the issue.

    3. Reopen mail, undeletable emails are gone.

    Like I said...it does not make a lot of sense...but for some reason that works for me.

    For many, just open the message with the item, take the item, delete that mail. Close the mail, open the mail and the other will be gone--they're linked (so if you delete the returned item mail that has nothing in it--it will also delete the actual mail message that does have the item in it)

    If it still flashes when there is no mail, send yourself a mail, close the mail, open the mail and look at the message, delete your message, and it normally fixes it.

    For some of us, when we open the "Sale Expired/Item Returned" mail, theres no item being returned. For myself this hapens 100% of the time with every item, so i experience a 100% loss of sale items and have done so since they fixed the mail system a couple weeks ago.. Deleting those very same emails is also a journey through a hundred hoops as the mail will not initially delete, but only disappears if you delete, then close and re-open the mail..

    Welcome to the lost items in mail Club. I can only hope one of the above solutions will help you, cause you can be damn sure Support wont do anything about it. Check around, numerous people aren't actually getting support feedback as of late. I suspect they've all been assimilated or something (a collective consciousness would reply with automated replies, right?)
