My internet cable got ran over by a rototiller yesterday. I will most likely not have the internet for the next two weeks. :(

Will I be able to enjoy most of the festivities?

The event runs through the middle of August.

The only caveat is that if you want the free ship you need to run the event 25 times out of 35 possible days.

OR, you can expend some Lobi to cut down the number of days you need to run the event. Just like Winter Wonderland, you can buy packs of the <insert needed item here> in order to shorten the number of days needed to earn the ship.

    Details of note, per Blog:
Although the Risian Lohlunat Summer Festival will continue to be available well into August, Lohlunat Pearls will only be offered as a reward from ?Flying High!? for a total of 35 days, starting June 27th and running until August 2nd. During this time, players will need to participate 25 times in order to earn their FREE Starship.

    So which is it?

    Through July or through August?
No one said anything about July.

The Risa Summer Event Zone continues "well into" August, but the Flying High! mission that awards the Pearls necessary to get the ship ends August 2nd.

Basically you need 25x Flying High runs and you have 35x (34x remaining, after yesterday) opportunities to run it.

If you don't get enough Pearls from the mission (each run gives 40 Pearls, you need 1,000 for the ship), you can spend Lobi to get more Pearls. Details from a Dev post:
...For players that cannot participate in the daily "Flying High!" mission sufficient times during the event... additional Lohlunat Pearls can be purchased using Lobi Crystals, at the price of 5 Lobi for a pack that contains between 2 and 6 Pearls. This puts the cost of the Risian Corvette at between 835 and 2500 Lobi Crystal. However, every single day that you can complete the "Flying High!" mission, this cost is drastically reduced by earning a lump sum of 40 Pearls.

For example, if you only participate 18 days out of the 25 required, you will have earned 720 Lohlunat Pearls. Purchasing the additional 280 will set you back as little as 235 Lobi Crystals...

I ran the Daily last night using the Rental Jetpack (1,000 EC for about 15mins of use, plenty of time for the mission) and completed it on my first go, with time to spare. I ran it a couple more times last night on alts (still using the Rental), and it got easier each time.

It takes me about 8mins to complete the Daily with the Rental.

Late last night I got the Superior Floater (faster/much easier to control) on one of my characters. I look forward to doing his 2nd Flying High! run tonight with the new pack. I expect it to be even easier/faster.

Note also: If you feed any of the 5-Favor-Costing Summer Food to any tribble, you'll get a Lohlunat Tribble. This gives makes you faster/more maneuverable in any pack. So worth it, especially if you're using the Rental.

    Good luck!

If you got a laptop that can at least play the game on lowest setting head over to McDonalds or Library and ask for a seat near a power plug.

I did that (library) a while back when my power was out.
