The Shield Adaptive Frequency Generator on the Valdore has be tuned so it no longer outpaces its intended healing rate.
So, how to I return this item and get my 1000 Zen back?
I completely agree.
God forbid they give us a console that actually does something without nerfing it a month later.
Its not OP, its good. theres a difference.
Light Speed! - No, light speed is too slow. We need LUDICROUS SPEED!

I remain empathetic to the concerns of my community, but do me a favor and lay off the god damn name calling and petty remarks. It will get you nowhere.
I must admit, respect points to Trendy for laying down the law like that.
Huh, still works fine for me. This thing had a tendency to overheal waaay too much, so if they fixed that, whoop de doo. It's still a good console to have for a warbird.
I can agree with you on this statement but that was not what my post was about. The item is no longer what I payed for so I want to return it.
Oh it is the very same item that you payed for, it's just that the calculations that support your item have been tweaked to not deliver unintended or overly large shield heals. :P

Which is the same thing to say that it does no longer work the way it was specified when I bought it. If the console happens to proc during a volley with a burst damage of 15k I'd expect to see 30k shield heal just as the item states. It may be OP in most peoples' opinion, I don't deny that, but that was the claimed stats of this console when I purchased it and if Cryptic change this I expect a refund.

The item states that it will heal for double your attack damage?
(this is a serious question as I don't have a Rommie and don't know what the description states)

Yes, but the nerf has nothing to do with the example he gave. He's just being loud and ignorant.
People were getting 30k heals off sustained 5k damage, not burst damage, and that is what was nerfed - or rather, fixed.

If you want a refund because you paid for a broken item, the proper time to ask was BEFORE this patch, not after.
The console was double-dipping, so it was healing for far more than it was ever meant to. Just wait, its still a really good console worth equipping, now its just not aggressively ridiculous. You can still get big procs off it, especially if you run Beam Overload 3 or use Singularity Overcharge often with high crit rate. You'll still be seeing heals over 20k, just not anywhere near as often.
To illustrate, I had a double-dip proc of this console on BO3 for over 160k shield hp. That is messed up, and needed to be fixed.

Also, I think CaptainGeko has something he'd like to say to you:
There's a difference between "my zen" and "my money". If I grind dil, trade for zen, buy item, I ain't giving Cryptic my money so someone else is paying for my zen.
Also, the console was in serious need of tuning, if something is too good in this game, expect a nerf. Buyer beware as they say. :P

Very true indeed. It's the PvP side of this game that raised a stink about this console.
This game is NEVER tested on Tribble for bugs. Even if players submit bug reports, PWE either doesn't fix them or takes weeks or even months to "attempt" to fix bugs.
This is what we all get for a F2P game that is all about gouging it's players for cash all the time.
The Bug is in serous need of tweeking so by the same logic we should also see a nerf to that but we all know that is never going to happen
No, you see, the JHAS is Working As Intended. The console, however, was giving heals above and beyond what was both intended AND stated. There's a big difference.

But that goes both ways, the whole DIL exchange and DIL is based on a fake economy that people use real money for. Otherwise the DIL exchange wouldn't exist.
if you wish to have a debate on this console you need to go to the PvP sub-forum - there you will find MANY MANY people who would like to argue with you about this console.
Several PvP players cried nerf(and still want it nerfed heavily) I asked that Cryptic take a long - hard and deep look at this consoles effects across the board - particularly for PvE players - and not just go with PvP cries about it being Over powered(op) - which I got a lot of flack from fellow PvP players.
While they continue to collect data - they found that the console coding did infact let it do something that WAS NOT INTENDED or described in it's description(basically a stacking problem)
Therefore this is actually a bug fix and NOT the Nerf that the PvP community has been calling for.
Captain Geko has stated several times that he does not want to "nerf" paid for consoles unless there is a extreme reason to do so.
At this point so far they have not indicated plans to "nerf" this or any other of the new LoR consoles.

How is it working as intended, It has the speed and power of an Escort with the survivability of a Cruiser. It is an Unbalanced ship but it will never be balanced because sadly the P2W cadre who fly these ships have Cryptics ear because that is where most of their money comes from. Its the same reason that everything else that even approaches the Bugs level of Overpowered gets nerfed because they whine until it happens! They want to fly around in their little unbeatable ships thinking they are Lord Lucan when in fact they just P2W. I assume you belong to that cadre!

Do you guys even know what the nerf does?
You call it a nerf, but it is actually a bug fix, nothing more, nothing less.
Once it's fixed on Holodeck tomorrow, then we can see if it needs an actual nerf, or if it is fine.

But it is doing what you paid for. After this patch it will do what it said it would.
I don't use this console but from someone I know who does use this console told me that it can't be called a nerf. It's supposedly still very useful.

Good Luck dude, never going to happen. you would have to bring it small claims court for that.

You can read about the bug here:

but that's not his point dude

He has no point because the console is doing exactly what its description states after the patch.

Indeed, spotted that myself.
Nice to know Al Rivera (aka CaptainGeko), is just as unprofessional as normal, in his trolling ways.
Will he ever be surpassed? Who knows! :P
