Omega/Maco/Honor Guard Costumes for Boffs?

when I go to New Romulas, seen player's boffs using the Omega Force Costumes, even mix them with other Costumes, but when I unlock them, the game won't allow me to use them on my Boffs, how is it done?

    I would suspect it was done using now defunct command line code, the same command line code that allows the omega helmet with MACO armor.

    Neither of these things is supposed to legitimately happen in game.
