Then they should in turn give us Fashion!!! Something that we have been lacking forever!
With NWO going live maybe now some attention could be payed to our Z-Store which has the selection of a quicky-mart.:D
I don't watch alot of project runway, so I may be wrong, but I think the last time shoulderpads and shiny metallic fabric were in style was the 80s.
Not in the Romulan Star Empire. That look is pretty iconic as far as Romulans are concerned.
Personally I'd be happy if the Romulan embassy bridge officers had customizable uniforms at all. While we are at it, lets make the Lobi store one have access to uniform options besides 'default civilian clothes'. I'd like to put some of those hard-earned bridge officers in proper uniforms, instead of rags, but not only are federation (and KDF, for KDF players) uniforms off-limits, but they can't use the Republic uniforms, neutral or aligned, or the tal shiar uniforms.
Indeed! and with that I guess a mod can go ahead and close this one
I believe pyryck was being facetious, I'm not aware of any dev statements that these two items would be unlocked for other species. (someone correct me if I'm wrong) And as much as I would like those two items unlocked, they are so generic that I'm not really sure that they qualify as 'Romulan fashion'. Fingerless gloves, while neat, are hardly a Romulan invention, and wouldn't look out of place in the KDF or even Starfleet, I think.

On the contrary, Klingons are well-known for wearing fingerless gloves..
Not to mention those have been requested on the KDF side since...ever.
Yes I am aware....I actually said that they wouldn't look out of place in the KDF faction....hence why I said it really can't be given as an example of 'Romulan fashion'. If anything, it's more Klingon fashion than Romulan. I'm not sure we ever saw any Romulans wear such gloves on the shows, although I think I saw them in the 2009 Trek movie.
What you said isn't really 'on the contrary' to anything I was saying.

But we don't need your ships anymore as we're about to get our very own Scimitar class dreadnought warbird carrier in a 3-pack no less!
But as a consolation prize, we can give you the patterns for making EITHER the Romulan bracers OR the Reman Fingerless gloves, but not both.
You had me at the fingerless gloves. Those are awesome.

I've wanted that, or at least the eye and hand piece, for my Rommies for ages. It's just so conceptually fitting.
And no, barring winning the lottery, can't afford a LTS.
http://thesaurus.com/browse/on+the+contrary
Main Entry: vice versa
Synonyms: on the contrary, the opposite way
in the context that they come from the Klingons and it's the other way around: they don't look out of place on the Romulans.
Does this make any sense to you?
