Lack of civilian Doffs

hitonozanshihitonozanshi Member Posts: 176 Arc User
I've noticed since the launch of LoR that there haven't been *any* civilian Duty Officers in the Duty Officer packs. With the lauch of the Dilithium mine, this becomes a HUGE problem for small fleets like mine to try to get to tier 1 without a significant cost in the exchange (civvy doff prices are skyrocketing). Could someone take a look at this issue?

Wha?! Civis and Scis are cluttering up my maibox hip deep!* How can you say you can't get any? You are doing the recruitment missions at the Academy, right?

*(Well, at least they were till Cryptic lost all my in-game mail dated before 5/24/13.)

like the others are saying, civilians really shouldnt be an issue at all

especially since you can use colonists and prisioners etc

my fleet only runs the colonization 30-minute mission and that fills at least twice a day (75 civilians each) in a fleet with ~160 contributors

I just buy 100 of those 500 fleet credit doff packs, they contain all doff types. Get enough civs for the mine projects, the other doffs I put in the starbase projects.

Seriously? There is the exchange and your fleet base to get these and it's simple enough.

I can't get civvy doffs in my starbase, unless they're not obtainable through the same guy that gives you the others. And I have seriously NOT received *any* civvy doffs in the doff packs I open. It's BS.

Also, I already mentioned that doff prices are the exchange are inflating dramatically. Please reread the OP.

You can do civilian officer duty recruitment assignments once every two days from your personnel officer. (Twice if your Romulan) The prices are inflating on the exchange but at last check they are nowhere near what Medical Duty officers were.

Remember you can also break down Greens into whites in order to get them. You can also use Prisoners/Colonists which you can get from DOFF missions and most importantly, you can use DOFFs from the other faction. They are far, far easier to get than Medical Doffs used to be.

Prices aren't that high on the exchange. Nowhere near the 60k it used to be to get a single medical doff.

For the record, I read your post. I just don't agree with a lot of it.

I forgot about the "get colonists" doff assignments. :P

That said, getting white from green is too random, but it's another lead. Thanks.

i don't think you can use prisoners for the civilian doff requirements on the dilithium mine. i'm KDF most of the time, so i have A LOT of prisoners, my brig is often over full.

but when i go to slot them into the projects it only allows me to put colonists, refugees, or the civilian crew (bartender, counselor, etc.)
