How about a Doomsday Machine version of Crystalline Catastrophe?

I know we can all play against it again and again after completing the "Doomsday Device" episode when playing as Federation with Hargh'peng Torpedoes in "Klingon War" and its available in the Foundry but isn't the whole concept of the Doomsday Machine a currently underused asset in the game?

You can go up against it in the Foundry but I've only played against it there facing more than one machine in a story where that weren't supposed to be fully operational and thus were quite easy to destroy and in the other Foundry story I couldn't even progress much because it was too bugged. So why not also a Doomsday Machine version of Crystalline Catastrophe for all players which is harder to destroy than in the Federation "Klingon War" with or without something like Hargh'peng Torpedoes but which a fleet will be able take out?

if the harg'peng torps the only thing that deals descent damage to it (likely hard coded since it specifically states in the torp descriptions) would make the torps more used, but unfortunately unless the KDF get them as a mission reward KDF likely wouldnt play it as the only way to get it from them is via crafting.

it would give rom's a good reason to use their "Radiant Plasma Torpedos" which if i recall, are pretty much harg'pengs, but turned into plasma torps.

I dont see someone playing this without the torps, that thing just takes very little damage from non-harg'peng torps.

Hmm...you -could- remove Doomies resists by setting up an npc that fires an experimental anti-nuetronium armor beam (maybe have a primary stage where you fight a few fleets of undine (for example..I could see them using it) while a cloaked npc gets into a scripted position (not seen, just on a timer)

one cut scene later of the npc being one shotted just after using the weapon, the team now has to destroy the doomsday machine with its severely weakened neutronium armored innards, following the standard battle method while an undine fleet tries to protect it
