So just then in Vault, I had the worst team you could ever find! Basically from the start there were only four players in the team, but all of them were escorts(Defiant, TS destoryer or something like that and Romulan warbird) except me(Odyssey tac). I was thinking: Well not bad, after all, how could anybody fail in an escort?
Than all hell broke loose. Disregarding the fact that we had one player less, two of those ESCORTs teamed up to rescue the trapped Romulan ships! And by the time I'm saving my third ship, the two-escort team is still saving the first, and there's only 40 seconds left! And the other escort went to support them! So in the end only 6 ships were saved, half of which were by me.
But that's not all! We failed to save the vault! I swear that's the first time I've seen the fail scene after dev lowered the difficulty of the mission. Than it came down to destorying the enemy flagship, two escorts went to the wrong one and got wiped out! The remaining escort did not last vary long neither. So we failed the optional mission as well. I only got like 12 marks for the mission.
Strange, I useally pull in 55 when the bonus is running and 40-45 other times. Worst lately is 9 teams saved and %20 vault complete. Most times its 10/10 and under %20 completions. Helps if someone says 1 top 2 middle one bottom. And at the start 2 left 3 right.
Sounds like you got a team, minus 1, of newbies. It happens.

Welcome to online gaming and the world of pugging.
The Vault:Ensnared and to a certain extend Infected Space, are among the simplest to complete. In both cases they can be completed with optionals by three competent Captains. And yet there will be times when both fail.
Even for dedicated, consummate professionals.
For the most part if your pugging experiences are poor, try setting up your own game. The second tab on the interface gives you the option.
To avoid the noids, members of fleets "whose mention violates the terms and conditions of use for the forum", and the leechers - take the initiative. Talk to other players. Make friends. Build alliances. And run groups of people you know.
Pugging here has the same pitfalls as other games. But getting to know other players - that is the truly rewarding aspect of community game play.
If you see something like this happen, use the team chat. Like crusty8mac said, they may have been new. Give them some instruction and help them be better. Please be polite, though. Not only will it help deliver your message but new people hardly like being abused.
yeah that probably happens 1 out of 50 or so...you were just very unlucky.
also doing the vault ensnared in a oddy cruiser is really tiresome, did it once and never again...try a ship with battlecloak and you can basically kill half of all the web spinners by yourself in time.
