My proposed Fleet AC Build

Feedback please.


Have a Tac and a Sci, leaning to the Tac though. Would a Sci cpt be better for this ship?



TS1, BFaW2, APO1
TT1
EPtW1, A2B1, ES2 or EWP1, DEM3
EPtS1, A2B1

HE1, TSS2
or
ET1, ET2

Doffs:
Conn
WCE
Tech x 3

No way I can afford a Marion Frances Dulmur doff for the DEM.....On the other hand, I may have to buy some keys to sell to buy this God aweful expensive Doff.

3 Beam Arrays, Maybe:Borg cutting beam, mines, or maybe a Hargh'Peng torp for the nasty escorts that come up behind me.

Borg Engine

I can get Borg X now though.


Consoles: (still working on rep)
Tac: Weap Energy consoles
Eng: Neutronium x 2, Monotanium, RCS or maybe 2nd Mono
Sci: Assim Mod, Zero Point (Field Gen and Shield Emitter till I get the rep)

    i would make this in the eng slots

    commander: eptw1, rsp1, extend, auxtosif3
    lt: epts1, et2

    2 dems with beams seems too much, and if you are using faw and spread, 1 apo without the boff is not enough maybe, try apb for the spam ...

    use tractor beam mines or maybe a tricobalt torpedo in the back, 3 beams and a quantum torpedo fore, and 2 beams and something else maybe a cluster too in the back, 5 beams will have the same dmg than 6 unbuffed, since it is a cruiser you wont have 3 or 4 boosts at the same time

    try the 2 piece borg plus maco shield, again, omega proc is not that good with beams ...

    the rest is ok for me

    This looks like something Hereticknight would use, I never understood his logic behind the "Backup" EptS1.

    Let me quickly explain the advantages that Aux2Bat will bring to this build:

    Only 1 copy of EptS and EptW needed. With guaranteed 100% uptime from 3 very rare techs, you can stick with level 1 in both. You can drop the EptS3 and both DCEs. A warp core engineer would then drop nicely in there, I suggest the new Romulan one, Keel'el.

    You also do not need the 2 Conn Officers, as Tac Team will also have 100% uptime. Sadly you will lose the attack pattern buff but that is not so bad really.

    DEM now becomes quite usable with a decent cooldown to be put on automatic rotation. If you aren't using Marion however I would consider dropping DEM3 and getting yourself RSP3 as a great pro-active shield tank.

    Now 3 very rare technicians will set you back quite a bit more than it did me, their price has rocketed in the last months sadly. 3 blue technicians will get you part of the way here. You will not have 100% uptime on emergency powers and tac team but perhaps you will get the feel of this build, which focuses on fast skills and flooding your energy levels from the aux.

    Your weapons layout looks perfect to me.

    As for gear, I would always recommend the Borg 2-piece with Maco shield, but the Omega 2-piece will be good so long as you have at least some investment in Flow caps. The ultimate shield will be the Elite Fleet Adaptive if that is within your reach.

    If the first poster know how to doff B'Tran, then she could save some Energy Credits by finishing up the chain, getting the repeatable doff mission, and critting it to get a Purple Technician for free.

    Forgot to mention the consoles.

    Engi resist slots are probably the least important, I would use Engi as the universal dumping ground. You can then slot 2 field generators which will serve well.

    Plasmonic Leech is rather essential now that you have access to it. I also recommend the Tachyokinetic though I acknowledge that it has a rather unreasonable price tag. The Romulan could go there instead.

    Something like this:

    Borg, Plasmonic, RCS, Tachyokinetic/Romulan

    And what about your warp core?

    I think I can agree with that.
    This seems like a good set power:
    Assimilated Set 2: Autonomous Regeneration Sequencer


    Would it be ok to get the Mk X Assimilated at Rep 1 and then MK XII when I eventiually get the Rep 5?

    If I tried this it would have to be with 3 blues.
    Though I DO like the thought of all bridge power timers being reduced.
    I can also get the Elite Fleet Shield now, looking through the NINE variations now.

    I know now, THANKS for the name. Going to have to fly over there and knock out the Colonist chain to get this underway.

    I have the leech console. I imagine I could fit it in one of the Eng slots.
    Tachyokinetic is not going to happen since I do not have 200 lobi nor the desire to play that lottery game.

    What do you mean by Romulan? Is there a new Rommie console out there?

    And the Warp core system is completely new to me. I have no idea which one to get other then maybe one that is [W -> S].

    your missing an important detail with a 2 AtB build, the 3 purple tech doffs. there is no reason to use AtB without them. use those instead of the damage control doffs, or drop AtB from the build. with the tech doffs you wont need the conn doffs ether.

    I was editing as you posted.

    I will be using 3 Blues till I get the missions to get Purples.

    I left 1 Conn....didnt know what to put there in it's place.

    No, don't waste assets on Mk X stuff. I would aim straight for XII. Aegis or Jem Hadar can certainly get you by in the meantime.

    Make sure it is the adaptive one. You can choose the shield type (Resilient, Covariant, Regenerative) and the Res type. B is more useful I reckon, as it includes both Plasma for STFs, and Disruptor which is common in PvP.

    Yep that's a good start. I would specialize in either shield or engines. For example with engine focus, something like:
    Hyper Injection Mk XI [SEP] [W->E]
    would be good. Hyper Injection gives an engine power boost, SEP improves engine performance, W->E transfers weapons power (should be 125) to Engines. So those mods work with each other well.

    No, don't waste assets on Mk X stuff. I would aim straight for XII. Aegis or Jem Hadar can certainly get you by in the meantime.

    15 seconds is how long my decloak ambush lasts on my rom, so proboly not lol

    shiled: elite fleet resA and resB (just to mention to have both in the inventory for 1vs1)

    consoels :
    sci:plasm leech / field gen mk xi rare (the ones from dilith store :P)
    eng:sub jumper / 2x fleet rcs xi (xii cost doenst worth the upgrade) 1 fleet neut xi
    tac: 4x polaron mk xii rare

    all boffs human or romulan (the ones from embassy)
