Ok since almost every day now there is a call for something else to be nerfed - perhaps we should keep all the nerfing comments in one thread.
If anything the PvP community is well known for it's calling for nerfs(and 3rd party hax software of course:P) = perhaps since most don't play much anymore they can just post their desires for nerfing stuff here?
Nerf the defense of escorts, cruisers and sci ships so you can 1 shot them with a standard issue photon torpedo. IT WAS IN THE SERIES!!! :P
I think you are on to something - I just did the last DS9 mission to get the shard on a new toon and you use the stations photons to destroy a JHAS - while out on the hull in your EV suit
7 photons destroy the JHAS!!
I am calling for a Jem bug NERF - you should be able to destroy a fully shielded JHAS with 7 photons!

I don't know about that- KDF BoPs are WAY OP - I mean 22k hulls - are you kidding me? If they were to cut that down to say 15k - then it would just be OP. Also a 0.8 shield mod is very high perhaps 0.5 would be less OP.

There have been countless occasions where powers and items were clearly not working as intended, by the dev's own admission.
In all instances there were those that relied heavily on these known, dare I call them "bugs/ exploits" to get ahead.
And generally its the same people defending them. So, in all fairness that door swings both ways.
true - there is a lot of bugs/exploits/possible 3rd party programs that lots of people take advantage of.
However - it's just human behaviour that when something new comes along that frustrates someone or makes what they do more difficult or obsolete - they yell for changes to it first/or nerf.
Adapting is not something many people want to do these days - at least without making a big stink.

You think u are laughing of the ppl that make balance post, but the reality is that we laugh about you and your fail arguments. Thanks to those that reported and insisted over and over again to the DEVS about unbalanced/broken things across this years, you are able to enjoy pvp. You had no idea the things that we have to fight with the DEVS (and with another "special" guys like you saying "its ok, don't need a nerf"). The problem is that for understand most of the balanced issues, u need to really understand the mechanics and the maths behind this game, and that is something that not everyone understand.
A clear example of this is the Valdore console, is full of noobs saying that the console is ok and they need the console "as is" for do STF's (we have been making stf's without any of those fancy toys for years, and without MK XII very rare fleet gear... and STF used to be much harder than now). Guess who will be right in the end? we, as usual....meanwhile we have to spam the forums with neft topics, and deal with the guys using the new unbalanced toy for exploit/abuse in pvp queuqes.
I remain empathetic to the concerns of my community, but do me a favor and lay off the god damn name calling and petty remarks. It will get you nowhere.

I did say 2 things about the Valdore: 1- that the devs should look long and hard at it before making any adjustments and not jump on it with the nerf bat just because of some pvpers say so. 2 - that they would be very unlikely to nerf anything Romulan including the valdore console so soon after a launch - bug fixes excluded - as it would not look very good from a business standpoint.
And the devs so far have done just that - looked very hard and found a bug in the Valdore console which is being fixed. Does it still cause an imbalnce in PvP? Yes - anything powerful in PvE is going to be super OP in PvP. but a lot of things are/can be OP in PvP - the aceton comes to mind - I use it on my B'rel so that I am not destoryed my FAW spam - but I have seem KDF players abuse it way too much.
Of course this thread was ment to be in satire - so I don't want to get into any back and forth debate.
The main thing that needs a major nerf now is EPTE. It is being horribly abused by just about every bugship I see except mine allowing them to go at full impulse speed permanently during combat and permanent immunity to slows/holds. This would be a nerf that balances PVP and should make most PVEers happy as the borg spheres are using EPTE3 now and making STFs not harder, but much more tedious chasing borg all over the map.

Someone has a build and tactics that they have used successfully for awhile - they are blowing ships up every few seconds
and Blam - something new comes out that disrupts their build/tactics/time to kill

It is getting fixed (they just posted so on Tribble earlier), so probably next week that fix will be up.
