Bank/Inventory Slots question

Okay, so I was a Gold member back in the day (before F2P came out), then I went silver. As a silver, I didn't get extra bank and inventory space when I levelled up. If (now that my Reman is at level 50) I re-purchase a sub, would I get those slots? Or alternatively, would I be able to purchase more than the "3 times" limit of C-store slots until I reach the max available to Gold members? Thanks!

Yes, all slots (e.g. bank, inventory, shared bank, BO) will be granted retroactive with a 'Gold' subscription. The only thing of significance that's not retroactive are Skill Respecs.

Do note, that to obtain max bank and personal inventory, requires both the 'Gold' sub and the C-Store purchase, as they add from independent 'pools'

okay, so going gold will instantly grant me all those slots that I would normally have gotten via levelup, but not the respec tokens I would have gotten?

    That's correct.
After subbing about a week ago, I was thrilled to see all the extra inv/bank/BOff slots added on top of the ones I had purchased on my main character while still a silver player.

    It probably goes better here.

I recently did a one-month Gold membership just to try it out. My original Fed character is level 50. So I started a Klingon and a Romulan character. I'm wondering where my extra inventory/bank slots are. I'm getting the impression from this thread that they will come as I level up? Is that correct?

My month subscription ends in two weeks. If I haven't unlocked all the inventory/bank slots by then, will they still accumulate if I don't renew?

Also... what is there to do with a Level 50 Fed Admiral once all the storylines are completed?

Yes, you gain additional bank & inventory slots with each major Rank Up, but only as long as you have 'Gold' subscription status. Once your subscription ends, you automatically revert to the 'Silver' status reward schedule.

and once you reach level 50, new projects become unlocked for you to do, such as 'Reputation', and the various VA 50 level STFs...

I have purchased an LTS and have not received the additional inventory spaces. It is still set at 42. My level is 50. I assume this is a glitch?

I'm currently in the same boat with some of my characters. I subscribed and did get the slots on some characters, but not with others. Did get the BOFF slot unlocks, but not the storage. Also haven't gotten my a respec token at level 10, on my new Klingon.

    Very strange situation.

I'm curious to see how the support team will try to fix this situation. I sent in a support ticket yesterday, if you suspect you suffer from similar problems I suggest you do too :)

Have not had a chance to review all of the "perks" as of yet. Thanks for the heads up on the other stuff. I will check this evening. I have a Fed at level 49 and a KDF at 50.

Can you still benefit from this if you are F2P? Since I am disabled, I may not be able to afford a sub.

Everything in the game can be bought via ingame currency without paying out any real life money, just takes a bit of time to get the Dillithium to trade for Zen.
All features of the game are available to F2P as they are to subbers, every single mission, STF and feature of the game, there are pretty much no restrictions

The STF's/Fleet Actions, and Reputation's (Omega/Nukara/Romulan) are all open to any player, regardless of if you're F2P, Gold, or Lifetime. So no worries there.

So, besides the vet rewards, and 500 Zen per month, what is the difference in monthly membership, and lifetime? And with monthly membership, do you get any Zen per month? It seems like the small advantages in monthly access are not going to be something I need.

Still, I have been told that with lifetime you get the 500 Zen, even though it isn't shown on the site. So I was curious if there was a hidden advantage to monthly.

The 500 zen is a membership perk. You get it for either gold or lifetime.

That I can remember off hand, lifers get everything golds get, plus

    2 extra character slots
    a special Lifetimer combadge
    Liberated Borg Human/Klingon/Romulan Playable species
and any vet rewards upon reaching level 5, regardless of time subscribed.

I probably forgot something in there, but basically Lifer gets everything gold gets, plus extras. and you don't have to renew, but as an aside, you pay everything (the cost of the lifetime membership) upfront.

yeah, the main perk of lifetime is never having to pay for your sub again.
