So I spend all day patching the game (I have a 60mb connection O.o ) then I FINALLY create a Romulan, and then BAM! Can't play anymore because of this bug. I miss city of heroes.....
Well damn! And I just bought the lifetime subscription recently because I enjoyed the game play and depth of this Star Trek Online... RAAAAAAAAAAWR, server outages suck.
Ok bring the pop corn, .. what will be more fun to watch, the folks crying about not getting in to the game or the folks threatening never to play again. Nerd rage it is more fun to watch then Gorn TRIBBLE.
If we could somehow harness nerdrage into energy - think what we could power!!
While I'm waiting for the login server to function again. What's the deal with the Safe and Normal login after a glitch knocks you out of the game? Does it really matter?
That happens if you get booted while in the middle of a loading screen. I usually choose the safe login and end up where I was going when getting booted
On topic, my inet kicked me from the game and now I can't get back in.
Now a LTS and loving it.
Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.

I totally agree, this is becoming to regular, things are constantly getting buggered up, and it is the consumer as usual that gets the shaft. I am really starting to wonder if this game is truly worth the hassles

I was on DS9, and received a random friend request from someone who asked for help with a mission. He was klingon and I was on my fed, so I switched characters.
I came back and went with this person to a porthole, and started the mission.
The mission never started and I was stuck in a loading screen with the server not responding for like 134 seconds.
I exited and restarted the game, and now after I log in I get stuck in retrieving characters. I also cannot log into the STO gateway.
I think someone created a malicious virus in a user generated mission. Has this happened to anyone else? I hope crypitc will be able to restore my accounts...
wouldnt it be grand if everytime the server crashed or login failure happened we could buy zen for free while the outage happened.... maybe then they would take this as serrious as us!!
Logged in this morning ok:D logged in after shard maint, took forever to get patch downloaded but got on ok just tried, see zen promotion :rolleyes: several types of login erros trying to retrieve characters :eek: very nice please please please get STO it's own server

Is anyone facing the same issue
After the June 13 maintenance, I am facing a higher than normal disconnections from STO
And now, i am unable to login. Stuck at "retrieving list of characters", before timing out.
Is anyone facing similar issues or is the issue localised ( on my side ).
This is so i will know here to start the troubleshooting process.
